I find that bypassing typical sketching process and going straight to “painting”(?) really helps me get past the rut I usually find myself in. Also I feel like I’m creating dress up games and am genuinely so delighted by it. Idk y’all. I haven’t drawn consistently for the past 8 years and I feel now a joy I haven’t allowed myself in over a decade. Idc if it’s especially good, or innovative, or creative (honestly a mindset that ruined my ability to create) in just having fun now, and that’s good.
