Yep. Kinda nice seeing Euro militaries buying Sikorsky, lot of competition from EC these days. The sponsons are kinda a Sikorsky trademark.

It's still a symbol in the US military also. We use it for our marksmanship badges.

if i remember right that the ironcross was awarded first time 1813 war against napoleon, the bad history came later...
