Description

Kamen Rider Revice is a Japanese Tokusatsu drama in Toei Company's Kamen Rider Series. It is the third series to debut in the Reiwa Era and the thirty-second overall, and serves to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the franchise. The series premiered on September 5, 2021, joining Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger in the Super Hero Time line-up after the finale of Kamen Rider Saber. After Zenkaiger concluded on February 27, 2022, Revice was joined in the Super Hero Time line-up by Avataro Sentai Donbrothers.
The series' catchphrase is "The hero and the demon are a tag team... in other words, the strongest!"
The series motifs are animals, stamps and demons.

Plot
In 1971, a military organization called Noah led an expedition in Latin America and discovered the remains of the first devil Giff and an artifact from which they developed Vistamps. In the present, Giff's remains are in the possession of a Noah splinter faction called Deadmans, a devil-worshiping cult under Aguilera who seek to resurrect him by using Proto Vistamps to convert peoples' inner devils to their fold. Opposing Deadmans is an organization called Fenix, whose scientist George Karizaki has developed the Revice Driver for someone who has tamed their inner devil. Ikki Igarashi, who runs a sentō with his family, ends up acquiring the belt while forming a pact with his inner devil, Vice, to fight Deadmans together as Kamen Riders Revi and Vice.
Ikki's younger brother Daiji, a Fenix operative who was intended to become Revice but failed to out of fear, begins to avoid Ikki until he is possessed by own inner demon, Kagero, who obtains the means to transform into Kamen Rider Evil to defeat Ikki. In response, disgraced Fenix operative Hiromi Kadota becomes Kamen Rider Demons to assist Revice against Deadmans while Ikki helps Daiji overcome Kagero's control and become Kamen Rider Live. Later, Ikki and Daiji's younger sister, Sakura, joins the fray after obtaining the means to become Kamen Rider Jeanne and awakening her inner demon, Lovekov, from the secret organization Weekend, led by the supposedly deceased inventor of the Vistamps, former Noah scientist, and George's father, Masumi Karizaki.
Following Fenix's assault on Deadmans' base and recovery of Giff's casket, Aguilera and her bodyguard Julio go on the run as Deadmans' true leader is revealed to be Orteca. After Julio's humanity is restored, Orteca takes the Demons Driver from Kadota, who discovers Fenix's leader Hideo Akaishi is also the founder of Deadmans. As Ikki and Vice end up being fused by a Vistamp that Weekend sent them, a demon named Vail breaks free from the Demons Driver and possesses the Igarashi siblings' father, Genta, in an attempt to kill them as Kamen Rider Vail. The siblings learn of their father's dark past as a former Noah operative, their inheritance of part of Giff's DNA, and how they unknowingly hastened Giff's revival over the course of their battles against Deadmans.
Following Daiji's victory against a dying Kagero and George retrieving the Demons Driver, Ikki and Vice complete their fusion and defeat Orteca, who is devoured by a fully awakened Giff. Aguilera's humanity is restored as she becomes a Weekend agent and obtains the Week EnDriver to become Kamen Rider Aguilera while Hikaru Ushijima uses the upgraded Demons Driver to transform into Kamen Rider Over Demons. Concurrently, Akaishi, a millennia old follower of Giff's who seeks to evolve humanity, joins forces with a fully corporeal Vail in destroying Fenix, with the Kamen Riders and Weekend as the only opposition against Giff enacting a demon apocalypse on Earth.

It was originally reported that all the previous installments of Kamen Rider would exist as a fictional franchise within the continuity of Revice, in a vein similar to Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER. However, producer Taku Mochizuki has clarified that this has been changed to allow Revice to exist in the same universe as its predecessors, allowing for crossovers like Saber's final episode to occur easily.
Despite Mochizuki's statement, the crossover with Saber conflicts with the timeline of Revice due to the aforementioned episode taking place in 2022 due to a time skip, creating a continuity discrepancy in which their meeting predates the film Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations that takes place in 2021. This is another case of early Kamen Rider debuts ignoring real world dates.
