So here she is, the final product. I'm pretty fond of how it turned out, although I ended up going in a completely different direction than the one I started in.

I was aiming for the actual appearance of fur, which was somewhat achieved with the use of multiple layers consisting of multiple shades and brushes. The red and black fur were four layers with the white only being two. The shading within the fur and hair were a complete accident resulting from just fuckin' around with different brush settings.

As far as the backround goes, I didn't think she stood out enough against the original white backround so I just through a bunch of randomness together and enjoyed what it produced.
