this is a crayon colored version of a horse i just placed in my scraps. battle has been scanned, magnefied, printed, colored with roseart crayons, and scanned again. then i had to make him smaller. and here he is.Related content

hmm, this is cool, only it gets too dark towards the top of the face, bot i like it!

towards his nose? of course it does. have you seen a roan horse? or even a dun (cisco in dances with wolves) when the main and tail are of darker color than the main body it is often that the horse has darkend points, like a siamese cat. so technically his ears should be a little darker, but his nose is on purpose.
i've been drawing horses since elementary school and altho i can't do lovely awe inspiring print quality pictures, i have studied my subject exstensively.

possibly, i tend to prefer motion scenes for horses, but i just couldn't get one done right that day.
