meet Eri (Blessed Prize.)

on one side is a delightful painting of a Japanese fan and delicate flowers, the other has a Yojijukugo which is a four character idom, and more flowers and also butterflies. the idom is mongai fushutsu, meaning secretly keeping and not letting a precious piece of artwork out of the house.

all paintwork is done with artist quality acrylics, painstakingly detailed over several hours of work and then sealed with a matte acrylic sealer. the eyes tho were sealed with triple thick for added depth.

she is rehaired in three shades of genuine my little pony nylon hair from dollyhair.com in blizzard, cherry pie, and atomic turquoise. then carefully pinned into a double bun with decorative pins.

she is adorned with a neckalace of 10/0 czech glass seedbeads in ruby, and a little japanese lantern charm.

Eri was inspired by some Japanese kimono coasters my best friend gave me a few years ago. she is a labor of love and inspiration that i hope you too will find inspiring.

please note the pony i used to create eri i bought from the store at full price, mint in package, but she has a flaw. a pin point bubble that has turned into a hole on the tip of her horn. it is not very noticeable but i feel it pertinent to mention this flaw.
