ARGH! this one was a pain in my butt! see katara here has a roll of hair at the back of her head where her hair loopies connect. and i, for the life of me, tried everyway i knew possible to make it out of hair. well... it's not. i finally gave up and made one out of ultra light sculpy and painted it to match her hair. looks much better in person.
and i think i need some photography lessons... these are awful blurry for having a really good new camera!
anyway... she will have a water bag soon. i just keep breaking them
oh and you'll notice a swordless zuko here. one of my girls got a hold of his last pair and well, they're in the trash now. so i've made new ones, but their final coat of varnish is still drying, so they are not ready for pictures. oh he gets a new baldric with them too.
back to katara... her necklace is removable, but i wouldn't suggest undoing her hair. part of it are sewn into place. XD

Lawl. Best part about this is that I have a My Little Pony coloring book and one time I went through and colored a bunch of them to look like Avatar characters. XD Good job!

i just rerooted it with saran hair from restoredoll.com. her roll that her loopies go into is made of ultra light sculpey and painted.

patience, sculpy, hair, paint, and hard work! there are plenty of tutorials on how to customize ponies. just google it ^_^

take one baity (not very valuable) my little pony toy, remove head, hair and tail, add sculpey, bake, paint, seal, re-hair, re-tail, replace head, snap pictures!

it was actually the roll they go into that was a problem. the loopies them selves were easy
