I WAS working on another project, when I read 's latest (at the time of writing this) journal entry, "why do you draw?", and reading the opinions in there, combined with my own motives, I just had this rush of "must draw!", and this was the end product.I wont bore you with the origin details, but this is 100% photoshop (a first for me, I usually have at least a ROUGH sketch), learnt quite a bit about my tablet from this.
The design is based on Rewd's attire in After Effects (working title), 2 years after Kaos Theory (effectively scrapped). As we can see his collar line has..slipped..entirely off the shoulder. His pants now zip-off! Oooh, aaah! And each section has the flame at the base (it's tradition!) Only it's in a more possible way this time, considering the material for these pants is lying upstairs by the sewing machine, I'd like it to be doable...
"For The Hell Of It", the reason I draw. I don't look for fame, admiration, fandom, I draw for me, so expecting any of that's hopeless as far as I'm concerned, if it happens, then woot, yay me, but y'know what? I don't care either way. Getting comments is a good feeling and all, but I'd rather remain virtually unknown for my own stuff than sell out for the masses. As long as I enjoy what I'm doing, I'm gonna give a one finger salute to the rest of the world!
I'd like to dedicate this one to everyone who's made me what I am today, for better or worse, Adam, Luke, Paul, Juli, Allie (x2), Steph, Dax, Taiken, Dan (x?), Sancho, Pikz, the list goes on, and on, but I doubt most would know anyone else in the list anyway, so meh, enjoy y'all!

Curious though, what's that thing wrapped up in barbed wire hanging from his ear [or horn, or....well, whatever they are.]

Not always hurrah..the thing I'm working on now, people wont want their name attached to...
Both ears/horns/whatevers they are now have new earring sets*, and they are as follows:
(His) Right: Barbed wire wrapped heart, demon wing, and blood/tear drop
(His) Left: The hanging cross (*=carried over from the old design), angel wing, and a sort of infinity loop.
Last one might not make sense, I hyrbid' two things to make it, and had to draw it to explain it to Tom. It was inadvertant that I releaized he now has a sort of..yin-yang earring thing going on, I didn't realize for a good while after I submitted this, but eh, just gonna roll with it.
I'll keep it up as long as my brain can create, and my hands can lay it down.

In answer to both, I haven't even begun to emo yet, this next piece (unless I happen to finish something else first), is gonna be my emo'est!
In addition to the second question, no, I'm not going emo..not anymore than usual anyway, I figure I've gotta be SOMEWHAT emo, given my tastes and such, ya? But no MySpace, or angst'ing about my girlfriend, or covering my face with my hair or any of the typicaly-(half*)seen(/scene)-emo-stuff.
(*=Half seen. Get it, hair over one eye? I'm a riot.)

A choice, eh? Sorta..more of a moral decision, you could try harassing me a whole lot..but the infinite question is, "what comes first, the answer or the block?", granted, I'm basing my question on AIM and MSN principles, so the question could alter should you venture down that path.

Tablets can be an awesome tool when you've gotten used to them, able to fit more details into a picture usually, assuming you start on a reasonble sized 'canvas', not to mention digital inking being alot more accurate, and alot less messy, no stupid mistake is permenant. And basically more control with colouring and shading, so if you get the cash it could be a worth while investment.

That it is, it can get you into, (but rarely out of), so many situations, what's not to love?
For thinking through non of the design work, be it pose, or outfit, I love how everything came out, I may end up tweaking a few bits and bobs as I go, but that's damn near natural for me, glad someone else likes it and I'm not just being egotistical. I like the spray tag too though, for a first attempt, I don't think it's too shabby, maybe that's just me, I dunno...
