I have posted some more pics of the "deed" and.. yes..the poor creature died...sort of stupidly...at least i got some interesting shots...

I think you did well in shocking the public with them. Where did you disect the dog? University or work or..?

University...this is part of Pathology...dissection to determine the cause of death...A very unpleasant part, beside the gore factor, lots of hard work, and attention is needed to spot the various lesions...but at least i can get some cool pics...

Sounds an insteresting, if difficult, course. I was thinking of perhaps going into forensic science. (:

It is not so difficult in theory...the lesions are the same...but the gore, smell, noise, time,not to mention the cadavers that "past their prime" make it a very unpleasant course...
Forensics are very interesting...but where i live you have to join the police force to get access...

yeah, the smell is what hit me when I was dissecting. Other than that, I don't mind gore and all of that at all.
I live in England. Ive been looking at University courses for Forensic Science.
