Description Hello everybody,
I was thinking on this idea for a long time... didn't know if it would work at all, but in the end I'm quite happy with the result.

The idea:
Ultra minimal concept of Elementary OS Luna borders, consisting in:

· No visible buttons on the titlebar
· Buttons visible at "mouse over" and "pressed" instances
· Modded minimize button (without that nasty bar below the arrow)
· Modded size and slightly modded the aspect of the bar
+
· Tweak on the titlebar: can be on the center, on the left, or on the right (default)

How to install:
0) Download the files
1) Unzip the files (...you will get 3 folders, one for each "title" mod)
2) paste the extracted folders on /usr/share/themes/ (you will need admin permissions)

How to use:
1) Install the stuff
2) open a terminal and type:
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences theme 'elementary-minimum'
---> right side title
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences theme 'elementary-minimum-center'
---> centered title
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences theme 'elementary-minimum-left'
---> left side title
3) to revert changes: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences theme 'elementary'

How about the button order? To change the button order as in the snapshot,
1) open a terminal and type:
2) gsettings set org.pantheon.desktop.gala.appearance button-layout 'close,minimize:maximize'
...to restore to the defaults values: gsettings set org.pantheon.desktop.gala.appearance button-layout 'close:maximize'
...and actually you may put it as you like : )

By the way... I really suck doing banners guys... jajajaja, sorry for that

Enjoy!

Important Note: Both, this mod and Elementary Perfecto [link] are "mimetic" themes, meaning that they will pick up the gtk theme palette, and implement it into the window border. How does it affect you? easy, if you change your gtk3 theme, these window borders will just join the new look, changing their color automatically. This is nothing more and nothing less than an awesome feature of the default Elementary GTK theme... thanks to all the Elementary crue for this (cleverly) amazing work.

Note 1: tasted on Luna + 1
Note 2: looks nice with Elementary Milk : ) [link]

that's awesome! also consider that it's not optimized at all for virtual machines, so the performance you saw is really undervaluated. : )

yea there are a few issues. i have no idea if they'll go away but doesn't hurt to try. the pointer disappears when i stop moving the mouse (trackpad really) and scrolling isn't smooth. those are the 2 main annoyances but we'll see how it goes.
