~~~(Name) POV~~~

“Ludwig” you whined as you walked over to the said German who was currently sat on the sofa reading, you tugged at his black tank top but he just ignored you so sat on the sofas arm next to him before calling out his name again,

“Ludwiggggggggg!” his eye twitched and a light pink blossomed across his cheeks as you laid across his lap, there was honestly no need to do this other than the fact that you wanted to and maybe because of a small crush you may have developed on the buff German. You reached out and grabbed the book he was reading successfully pulling it out of his grip,

“LUDWIGGGGGG-”

“VHAT!?!” he yelled glaring down at you with annoyed icy blue eyes.

“… I’m bored” you stated simply as he just glared at you before sighing,

“And vhat do jou expect me to do about zhat?” he asked in a monotone voice obviously uninterested,

“I don’t know anything EXCEPT exercise, cleaning, walking your dogs or yelling at Feli” you looked at him and saw he was frowning at you before a glint passed through his eye and a small smile curled onto his lips.

“I have an idea” he hummed,

“What?” you asked excitedly smiling widely,

“This” he said innocently before he used both of his hand to push you off his lap and onto the floor with a loud ‘Thump’. There was a few moments of silence which Ludwig used to relax back into the sofa until a scream cut through the peaceful atmosphere,

“AHHHHHHHHHHH MY LEGSSSSSSSS!” you wailed scaring Ludwig and causing him to jump off the sofa,

“ARRRRGGGHHH THE PAIN! I-I THINK THERE BROCKEN ARGGGHHHHH!” you continued to cry feigning fake tears as you reached a shaking hand up towards the scowling German,

“W-Why L-Ludwig, WHY W-WOULD YOU D-DO THIS TO M-ME!?” you whimpered only received an angry glare from the tall man before he walked over you and towards one of the chairs at the dining room table.

“You’re over dramatic (Your Name)” he growled sitting down in the chair and picking up another book off the table and began reading it,

“I’m not over dramatic” you pouted sitting up, all the ‘pain’ suddenly disappearing,

“Really?” he huffed in a voice laced with sarcasm as he placed down the book and pinched the bridge of his nose.

“Jou know I couldn’t tell if jou vere actually trying to act or if jou vere just messing about and….Blah … Blah…Blah…” you began to lose focus and blocked out Ludwig’s endless lecture about your absolutely amazing acting skills and instead entered your own little world, well that is until something small and black behind Ludwig caught your attention.

It was a demon, A demon with eight spindly legs crawling down the wall directly behind Ludwig, He remained clueless of the danger behind him and you just stared wide eyed at the little beast,

“(Your Name)?” a voice called out for you but it was faint,

“(YOUR NAME)!” it called again but louder snapping you out of your trance and towards the source which just so happened to be Ludwig.

“Vere jou even listening to me?” you ignored his question and his deathly glare that seemed to burn into your skin and instead looked back at the wall were the creature of you nightmares lurked,

losing his patients Ludwig yelled at you once more,

“(Your Name)! Vhat are jou looking at!?” his sharp blue eyes followed your line of sight and he turned his head to the side slightly where his eyes landed on the creature you’ve been staring at.

You had expected him to either kill it or yell at you for staring at it when he was talking to you but he did neither, instead he did the one thing you’d never expect from a tough guy such as himself to do. His electric blue eyes widened and a girl like scream erupted from the back of his through, then he charged and literally dove behind and wrapped his strong arms around you, clinging to you like a frightened child, not that you minded.

“V-VHY DIDN’T JOU T-TELL ME Z-ZHERE WAS A S-SPIDER BEHIND ME! I-IT COULD OF K-KILLED ME!” his loud voice boomed in your ear causing you to wince,

“Geez Ludwig no need to shout and I didn’t tell you because you would of shouted at me for interrupting you while you were ranting” you said calmly before smiling,

“On top of that I never knew you were scared of spiders and you scream higher than Feli pfffttt hahaha~ it was like a little girls scream~” you chuckled only earning a annoyed and slightly embarrassed look from Ludwig as his cheeks burned a little and a soft pink dusted over them.

“S-Shut up!” he pouted before his usual stern expression made its way back onto his face and he stood up pulling you up with him then began to edge away from the spider before running up the stairs with you in his arms.

Once up stairs he let go of you and you fell to the ground only just catching your balance and landing on your feet but almost lost your balance again when Ludwig pushed you into his room and lock the door behind him. He then proceeded to barricade the door with various objects in his room for example:

-A chair

-A German flag pillow

-His ENTIRE wardrobe

-And a black box with a note saying ‘DO NOT OPEN’ attached to it.

“L-Ludwig don’t you think this is a little too much, I-It is just a spider after all” you tried to reason with him but he just shot you a glare before crouching down near his bed and reaching under it pulling out a pistol,

“For all jou know (Your Name) zhat one spider could be deadly and kill either one of us with just one tiny bite” he shuddered at the thought but it was barely noticeable.

“So what now? Are we just supposed to stay here until you think it’s safe” you dead-panned not entirely happy with the current situation you were caught up in,

“Yes” was his simple and blunt reply as he sat on the end of the bed focusing on the door. With a heavy sigh you trudged over to the bed and plonked down onto it lying on your stomach and burring your face into the soft material.

It smelt of aftershave and beer which is what you would expect from someone like Ludwig but for some reason the smell was so calming in a weird way and the whole atmosphere of the room, along with the sense of safety and protection provided by Ludwig made you feel a tad sleepy.

You didn’t like the idea of being stuck in a room but at least Ludwig was here which in your opinion made everything better. Feeling your eye lids become heavier by the second you let out a small yawn before you drifted off into a deep sleep.

~~~Ludwig’s POV~~~

You looked so cute when you were sleeping, so innocent and peaceful kind of makes me wish you would fall asleep like this more often. Reluctantly I moved closer towards your sleeping form reaching out a colossal hand to gently caress your cheek,

‘If only I could tell her how I truly felt but it’s just too difficult, I’m too scared, scared I lose her and after what happened down stairs I doubt she sees me in the same way, Urgh she probably sees me as a coward now! Stupid spider just had to appear from nowhere and ruin my chances… Well any chances I had’ Many troubled thoughts ran through my mind as I let a tired sigh pass through my lips and I brushed a stray strand of (Hair Colour) hair behind you ear.

Placing the pistol down on the bedside table I lay next to you and carefully move closer too you planting a soft kiss on your forehead,

“Guten nacht meine liebe” I whispered to your sleeping form as I felt a light burning sensation travel across my face to witch I raised a hand up to feel my cheeks and to no surprise they were warm signalling that I was blushing.

I could never contain a blush around you, so I blame you for this and for the pounding of my heart every time you get close.

I turned on my side and turned off the lamp then turned back over hesitantly wrapping my arms around your delicate figure then cast one last glance at the barricaded door before closing my eyes and joining you in a peaceful abyss.

~~~Time Skip Of Magical Magic~~~

I woke up with you still wrapped in my arms the only difference was you were facing me your hands gently gripping onto my top,

“So cute” I whispered to myself as a gentle smile played at the corners of my lips.

I took this moment to take in your beautiful features, the way the sun rays caught in your (Hair Colour) locks and the way it made your smooth skin glow with youth. My eyes landed on your lips, those soft lips that I’ve been itching to kiss since the day I met you.

I was so focused on your lips that I failed to notice your eye lids slowly flutter open reviling glistening (Eye Colour) orbs.

~~~Your POV~~~

You woke up slowly and as your senses came back you noticed the feeling of warmth that engulfed your body as a heavy object draped against your waist, looking up you manage to make out a well chiselled face with blonde hair sticking out in a few places,

“L-Ludwig” you asked as you rubbed your eyes in attempt to rid the morning grogginess,

“(Y-Your N-Name)” He stuttered out as his eyes widened slightly and what seemed to be a red streak grew across his face,

“Jour a-awake”

You looked back up at him with your vision clearer this time and took note of the light blush that had blossomed across his face but then you noticed how close you both were to each other and the fact that you had a hold of his top which caused you to blush as well.

“U-Urhhh y-yeah I am” you said shyly before letting go of his top,

He followed suit and unravelled his arms from around you and sat up before awkwardly coughing then turning his face slightly so you both avoided eye contact before grumbling,

“Guten Morgen”

“Good morning to you too” you spoke quietly a little disappointed at the lack of warmth and security that no longer hugged your body.

“S-So err Ludwig?” you hesitantly piped up,

“Ja?” he replied quickly,

“I-If you don’t mind me asking but what where you doing before I w-woke up?” you asked nervously smiling a little,

“I-I errr I j-just v-vas err” He continued to stutter out gibberish as his blush grew darker and spread across his face all the way to his ears. This went on for a few more moments before his embarrassment turned to anger and he became annoyed at himself then shouted,

“Verdammt! Grrrr vhy is it so hard to say!” he growled grinding his teeth together,

“Why is what so hard to say?” You questioned your curiosity getting the best of you.

He tuned to look at you with soft blue eyes, he took a deep breath before closing his eyes and straightening his composure into what appeared to be an army type stance,

“V-Vhat I’m trying to s-say is zhat….. Z-Zhat I-Ich liebe dich (Your Name)” he admitted clearly yet a slight hint of fear was present in his tone.

You stared at him in shock and he opened his eyes and stared back at you before sighing and turning away with a sad glint in his eyes and a small frown present on his face,

“I-Its okay i-if jou don’t feel z-zhe same, I-I understand a-and- URH” he was cut off by you charging at him, wrapping your small arms around his giant figure and almost knocking him off his feet.

“(Your N-Name)?!”

“I-I l-love y-you too” you mumbled into his shirt, though it came out muffled but Ludwig still heard every word as you could feel his heart beat against his chest causing you to chuckle softly to yourself,

“Y-Your hearts going one to the dozen” you smiled looking up at him and he looked back down at you with a kind smile of his own.

He wrapped his muscular arms around you figure and kept you there in a loving embrace both of you just enjoying the feeling for a few blissful moments until he pulled away and gently cupped your cheek,

“Ich liebe dich (Your Name)” he whispered before leaning down and connecting your lips, his smooth ones dancing across your soft ones as he let out a little hum of satisfaction.

When you both finally pulled away for oxygen you lent your foreheads against one and other and looked into each other’s eyes,

“I love you too Ludwig”

Extended ending-

“Ve~ Come on fratello why do you have to be so mean? Ludwig is a really nice guy!” Feliciano chirped swaying side to side slightly as him and his older brother made their way down the path that lead to a familiar house,

“Huh nice guy my ass, He is a potato loving bastard and I swear if he does anything to you or (Your Name) I’ll Rip. Him. Apart.” Romano growled whilst his younger brother laughed nervously and opened the door to the house he, Ludwig and you shared.

“I-I was-a just saying… But-a anyway I’m glad you came to visit me today Romano it was very nice of you” Feliciano sang flashing a smile at the ill-tempered man beside him who only blushed a little and turned away,

“S-Shut up! I-It’s not like I c-care about you or anything you bastard” Romano mumbled glaring at his happy brother at the corner of his eye noticing that he appeared to be shaking,

“Hey Idiot what are you looking at-” he followed Feli’s gaze and saw what he was staring at.

They both jumped screaming like little girls as they clung to each other and yelled,

“S-S-SPIDER!” before they darted out of the house screaming like maniacs.

“What was that?” you questioned looking towards the door,

“I don’t know meine Liebe” you new boyfriend replied hugging you closer as you both relaxed on his bed.
