Breeze is the oldest child of Rainbow Dash. He was born from a short one-night-stand and Rainbow doesn't remember who his father was, thus he was never in Breeze's life. But he grew up rather happy, his mother and Soarin had married when he was 5 and soon after had his little brother Prism Bing. After Soarin's sudden death Breeze took up the role as "man of the house" and cared for his little brother and depressed stricken mother. It wasn't long until Rainbow got back on her hoofs and was caring for her sons again though.

Because of their past, Breeze and Bing have a close relationship and love having flying races together, always messing with one another and joking around.

Breeze is very bold and cocky, seeing himself as the best of the best and never backing down from a challenge. Although he's still very respectful and is considered a "lady's man" for his kindness towards mares.
