Description
This large sculpture was created at the end of January in Breckenridge Colorado. As part of the Budweiser International Snowsculpting Competition, we had to produce a good piece with the level of competition at this event. Our piece used various scales and told a different story from each angle as you walked around the piece. The idea centered on a tornado that was bearing down on a small farm. The poor farmer saw the twister approaching and started running for his life. The barn was engulfed and was about to lifted from it's foundation. The poor horse in the barn could not believe his eyes and the oxen that lived a couple of miles down the road... was confused as hell, way up top in the funnel. But he enjoyed the view.We were awarded Honourable mention for this detail filled piece. On this sculpture as well, we had to work through the night to complete it. A total of 65 hours was spent on this piece.

Nice...
I don't like the shapes, the curves of the tornado especially... but I can only imagine how hard it was to do it.
But I adore the idea of telling a more complex story, with different acters of the event... and all that from different angles...
That's brilliant
