I love the bright reds and the contrasting elements of normal everyday living in NYC. Seems like so many businesses try to hide the more traditional side of NY by masking it with their brand. Saying it seems tacky only draws more attention to the brand. I'm sue, this too will pass as a fad. Either that or we'll all be stuck living in shallow facades. Now that I think about it, it is all facades to a degree - one bold and the other more subtle. In this case we're stuck with shouting, ever dulling the senses to perceiving the subtleties in life. Ah, time for a walk in the park. I'll wait for fall to get my fill of reds, yellows and oranges. Beautiful shot though.
