Interesting visual effect. The directional lines on the rock behind seem to invoke a tunnel motif if viewed properly.

This is really a fabulous setting and the technique used on the photo makes it even bolder. If I can be bold enough to make a suggestion, I would have sacrificed a bit more authenticity (after all, digital image processing in Photoshop does drain the authentic experience in return for revealing color, contrast and clarity the human eye could not produce) and actually retouch the part of the image on the left side, top of the bridge where the vegetation breaks the plane by substituting the sky for the vegetation (keeping the clouds, of course). It would produce a hard edge for the left top portion of the bridge and create a stronger sculptural shape. But I can understand keeping it the way it is as well since it suggests the shape of the ridge.

Unfortuately, I do not possess this kind of approach in my post-processing arsenal due mainly to my ""overall view" not to "replace" reality as well as to quite limited skills in Photoshop. Most I am touching my pics regarding the contents is eliminating disturbances in some cases (such as electrical power lines ...)

Here is an example of what I did with the color purple and what you can't see is that the entire line between sky and the vegetation had to be fixed because of artifacts caused from sharpening.

When you compare the two versions, the one I linked you to in my Stash with the one you posted in your gallery, at the left top edge of the bridge I removed all of the trees that were sticking up past the top line of the bridge, left in the one pedestrian's head and shoulders and extended the clouds down to cover where the trees once were.
