Today (May 9th, 2020), precisely 75 years after the WWII, Sarina and myself celebrate (?!) fifty years from our wedding ceremony at the city hall in our neighborhood in Bucharest.
It's, certainly, a right occasion for some retrospective into our own lives and this was the trigger causing me to accept to rummage thru older pics ... that is a true deviation from my usual behavior habits.
At such a distance in time that only old(er) people can experience it is a moment when you cannot avoid to have some self-compassion or in simpler words to identify that what you (we) mostly miss is not the places visited (Paris in this case - 1981) but the time that has passed and will never ever return. So, in addition to just circulate some of the older pics within our "family WhatsApp" and try to leave some signs for the posterity, I have decided to share one of these memories with all our friends in DA seeking a possible echo of our thoughts and enhancing the comfortable feeling that we are not alone and that there are people able to synchronize with our feelings. To all these people we dedicate this pic and, of course, our thoughts and best wishes.
