I would have been able to "suffer" from a better implementation but any how it's GREAT giving us the possibility to find so many artists ...

I'm missing all the color of summer here as well so it really is 'a color invasion' to see this.
When summer comes, I try to appreciate all the flowers and verdure while they're there and properly see them.
And then later, you go back to your memories and say, "did such-and-so event happen when the irises were blooming, or when the daylillies were blooming?" ^^

True, but if there is no frost in the winter, perennial flower bulbs do not bloom again (of course, flowers from warm regions that would otherwise go on forever, get killed by cold, unless you dig them up and store them in the winter, so maybe those things balance out).
Plus, if it is summer all the time, there is no contrast, and you may lose appreciation of what is in front of you...(wow, the metaphors are really piling up here, 
I do agree though, I would like to live in a region without such a long winter, maybe on the Mediterranean or some climate like that

Indeed you need to gather the experience in a personal way. I dare say like in my case after living for 26 years in Romania I am really enjoying the Mediteranean climate eventhough in Israel you have the "chamsin" days with warm wind that are quite difficult to bear ...
It seems anyhow that the Paradise is not on earth ... So we all know his location ...

The location of the flowers was in Cologny - Geneva area.
The pic just created the association with the ideas but actually not more than that ...
