A character that is being used in a game I am designing. This is my first attempt using a bamboo art drawing pad, and my first attempt using the gimp art software. I would love feedback. :3Related content

Gimp have definitely less tools than PS but you can still manage to do some great work with it. Give it some time and practice. I personally use it since my beginning about two years ago and i'm quite happy with the work i'm doing with it.
As far as your drawing, i think it's pretty nice.
