Description
I love my reflected body in this...so voluptuous! I sometimes imagine that the mirror world is the real one and that our side of the glass is in fact the pale reflection....in which case I hope backwards me is enjoying her lovely curves!Photographer: Jaymes J.

This is a lovely image. Looks painful on the elbows though.

It wasn't comfortable on the elbows for sure...it's an odd pose really...it looks like I'm doing a plank exercise and reading a book (that someone's stolen) at the same time...but it's kinda cool as a frontside/backside at the same time sorta thing.

Yeah I love the concept and the execution! I just can't imagine doing that on a hard surface. Carpet would be no problem but that wouldn't be very reflective lol

Actually the biggest problem was the mirror getting foggy or marked from me lying on it...carpet woulda been better for that too!

Lovely shot! I like the glimpse of your face--and the calm and relaxed expression on it--in the reflection.
And now you've got the Zhuangzi (or Chuang Tse) Paradox on your mind--he once dreamed that he became a butterfly, and for the rest of his life he could not figure out whether he really dreamed of becoming a butterfly or a butterfly had been dreaming of becoming him.

I like that paradox...I've dreamed I'm many things...but never a butterfly.

Very beautiful...but nope, the flesh and blood and soul and spirit and warmth are on this side of the glass in a magic realm called reality where wonderful curves like yours actually exist....Thanks.

I'm not so sure. If you stare long enough at yourself in a mirror...like REALLY stare at your face, lock eyes with yourself and just keep staring...a weird thing happens and you can, after a while, see yourself as someone completely strange to yourself...like you don't recognise the person in the mirror. Seriously...try it.

Certainly..I have always been a big fan of science fiction and fantasy and feel it is a huge rewarding pleasure to let your mind do a quantum leap into the magic unknown not to mention the sublime creative benefits one can often garner. I am fairly certain MOST creativity must come from these type of mental excursions. However; methinks the wise person always leaves a trail of cerebral breadcrumbs leading back to reality which may be stark but is the realm of possibility and productivity.....Β
