Wow girl, this was one major undertaking, designing and drawing out all these characters. I tip my hat to you! I like Bella N. especially.

There are plans for more major undertakings like this too.

I'm completely obessed with my story now. I am actually writing it now, with serious plans on trying to get it published. I've got the plans in my head, and they wont go away. It's wonderful though. I've never had such a complete story in my head before. I usually just have characters, and sometimes little scenarios, but never have I had a whole story ready and waiting to get out. I usally give up long before now because I can't write fast enough to keep up with my brain, but my creativity is only growing.

In a nutshell... be prepared to see lots more of Sena and the others.

I'm glad you like Bella too. She started out as just a random one-time character and ended up as one of the main crew in book three. Yes I have three books planned out. You don't even want to know how many pages that translates too. I just got the feeling of being in WAY over my head. Wish me luck, OK.

Good luck writing it all, and then transcribing it onto the computer (cause you said you hate typing right?) I'm sure it will be one adventure to read!

It's not that I hate typing, I'm just horribley old fashioned, and prefer to write it all on paper first. I don't even know why I'm against typing it directly to the computer. I did fairly well in typing class in school the other year. I'm pretty sure I can even type faster than I write, so it would actually be easier in the long run to type it directly. I think I just like sitting all curled up while I write, and I can't do that in this computer chair.

If I get the impulse I'll type and e-mail the first chapter to you. Kind of a sneak preview/how's it look to you kind of thing.

oooh, a sneak preview sounds awesome (if you feel comfortable sharing your work.)

I watched the first 11 episode of One Piece today, and I think I'm warming up some (except for Luffy, hopefully it's like Naruto, you start liking him after a while.)

I'm sure you'll warm up to Luffy. He's too simple minded to not love, and he is pretty similar to Naruto in alot of ways (but also uniquely different! )

I'm comfortable sharing my work with anyone but my parents. I don't know why, but I don't want my parents to know what goes through my head. Especially if there's any bit of sexuality to it. It's weird. I'm totally comfortable sharing with you though, so there's no issue there.

PS We'll be getting a new computer within the next 2 weeks (Dell) It'll take us 4 years to pay it off, but it's got about triple, or more, the memory and processing power as our old one, so it's worth it I guess. I should have waited for a job to get it, but this one wont even play a song without using the entire CPU. *sigh* I'm sure I'll get a job soon anyway.

oooh, that's exciting! I bet you'll just love your new computer, and speed of it! You'll have to let me know when you get it, and I'll jump on the chat and you can gush about how nice it is (or anything ^_^.) That is, if I can get my chat to work, it keeps shutting down on me

Don't you just LOVE when stuff shuts down for no apparent reason?

I just couldn't stand our old computer anymore. Oh well. There's a cleaner job at the local movie theatre that I'm going to put my name in for. Maybe I'll get lucky and they wont mind I'm a bit over-qualified. I don't mind cleaning, especially if it means CJ can take a break. He's working 6 eight hour days this week, plus two nights with the reserves. Poor man is up every day at 5:30 am, and the reserve nights he doesn't get home until 11 at night. He was so tired last night he went to bed at 9:30. I feel like such a bum when he works this hard.

Good luck on the job!!! Poor CJ, working so hard! I bet you miss him a lot while he's gone
I don't get why people don't give you a job because you'r eover-qualified. What buisness of theirs is you have PhD and you wanna be a waitress, or whatever!

I miss CJ tons on his long days. Even his short days I meet him at the door and give him a big welcome home hug. I don't mind being alone some days, but when I have low, moody days, the loneliness can really get to me.

There's just so many people out here looking for work (why I don't know, I thought everyone and their dogs were moving out west) they don't want over qualified people taking jobs from people who don't have any education and aren't qualified to do anything more. Or I could just be talking out my ass. I don't know. I also have near zero in the work experience category, and you NEED experinece in any job out here it seems. A position at the library opened up again though, and I put my name in for that too, but that's only casual. *sigh* I'm beginning to think my sister had the right idea in moving away. Oh well. I'm not quite ready to give up hope just yet. There has to be something out there for me.

Keep trying hon. One thing I learned about looking for jobs is to call back about 5-7 days later, showing extra interest in the job. I used to be afraid of annoying people, but that's how I got my last three jobs, calling back or even visiting the place again, always being polite and well dressed/groomed.

*sigh* I know I should do that, but I just never think about it. I'm not very motivated either. I've given up on finding the right job, and am now just looking for a job to make some money. When you don't want to do what your doing, it's hard to show interest. Guess I have to try a little harder huh?

I agree, when things aren't very interesting, it's hard to get your self to do them even if they're essential.

I'm thinking about trying to get a job at Wal-Mart with CJ. Not in the same section or anything, but at least the same store. My car is on it's final legs and wont pass inspection in May, so if we at least have to go to the same place we will only need one car. Unfortunately there's no way of getting the same schedule. *sigh*
There was a few secretarial jobs listed, and I would have went for them except one was almost an hours drive (way too far!) and the other needed you to be bilingual, which I'm not. I stopped taking French in grade 10. I just couldn't get it.
I do have some decent new though. The guy that runs the local comic shop said I'm welcome to sell some of my art in his store if I want to. I've already pulled some of my older stuff, and am thinking about making my own prints of some of my newer works. I hate parting with original works unless they were made specifically for someone. Most of my art is made for myself, so I get so attached. I'm sure it'll work out.
I think that's enough babbling for now, don't you?

Sounds like the guy at the comic shop is a good guy, I hope that you'll be selling plenty of art ^_^ I agree though with being attached to your art, I don't like giving it away either unless it was a gift or for a client. (even then I always make backups!

Did you take French for 10 years? Is it required in Nova Scotia? I only took it for one, and it kicked my ass. I was much better at Japanese when I took it, but I'm still crap at that too.

It would be really awesome if you guys could get a similar schedual, maybe if you explained that you only have one car? I'll crossing my fingers for you if you go for it.

I started French in grade 5 and took it until grade 10, and it was mandatory for those years. After grade 10 you could've still taken it for 2 more years if you wanted to. It was only 2-3 classes a week, so it wasn't much. If I was smart I would have opted for the French Immersion program that started up the same year I started High School. All of the classe were taught in French, but that obviously wasn't mandatory.

My mom mentioned the same thing about telling them we only have one vehicle. (We do have two, but in one of my other comments, i told you that ones being sold to my mom anyway, so it will be true)
