you took a good perspective on this. it looks like the bird is about to take off and come at you. the color doesn't really matter, but would probably be a little better if there was some color in it. those eyes kick ass too!

contrast could be ajusted to make the details a little darker, and no so much grey-tone.

awww i love it, although i think i fear the larger birds i find them so awesome! you're so lucky to have even been that close to one! i live in an industrial city so i hardly see these, but i see a couple and of only a distance away hehe catch it for me! just kidding don't do that
