Description
This collection of Star Wars Creatures is for a fan project for FFG's Star Wars Edge of the Empire Roleplaying Game, to create an unofficial bestiary with lots of Star Wars beasts for players to fight.The community will be building the stats, layout and presentation of their own, but I wanted to put them all on one sheet for devArt.

The references used were mostly from Wookieepedia: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_P…
and from my own Star Wars collection (Acklay: an action toy - Drexl: Tales of the Jedi Comic album).
PS It has been over a year I've loaded anything here but now I have another fan art pic almost ready!

The project is to build a community supplement of beasties that FFG didn't include in the Edge of the Empire sourcebooks. Naturally "famous" creatures such as the Rancor and the Gundark have official entries, so there was no need to produce them.

Oh, Rint...you mean 'HAD' your dream job. *smile* I did my Star Wars stint way back in the 1990's. Feels like ancient history now. It was such an honor to be involved with adding to the official Star Wars canon. Getting to 'play' in the Star Wars universe that I grew up loving. You're right...it was a dream!

Sweet! Most of these are from WEG's Creatures of the Galaxy, where they allowed artists to go nuts with creature design then the writers write around the designs. I've thrown the arqet, svaper and the ghest at player characters before in Star Wars D6. I could use FFG stats for these babies now.

It's nice to learn more about the original designs - so the picture came first and then the description. I'd have thought it was the other way round
BTW I don't own a copy of Creatures of the Galaxy and most of the animals were unfamiliar to me.

In any case, those are fantastic renditions of the critters! Can't wait for the document to be released. Though I think the official wrix stats are released in Sons of Fortune.
