Description I just got bored. I have a bunch of work pending but sometimes I just need to get away from all that and do something that I want to do for a bit before getting back to pended works.

I've been looking through the internet for a paper flower tutorials but I couldn't find a proper one. So I combined whatever I've learned and make one of my own.

If you have any questions, any suggestions, ideas, or whatever, don't be afraid to comment. ^w^

I hope this helps. ~

*Note: It was actually longer but due to the new DeviantArt size thingy-majig, I have to edit the size and it looks crappier. Oh well. Hope it's readable.
**EDIT: I completely forgotten to put in Step 2! Hahaha. What have gotten into me? I apologize for my clumsiness. ^w^

would this works with fabric?

I have never tried this on fabric but I am sure you needed a heavy or thick type of fabric for this to work. Felt would work best.

i have a question~ what size of paper should you use or does it matter~? also if you dont have the wire, what would make a sutable replacement (sides straw)???

thank you for your time~

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

riotfaerie In reply to Catbread-Rainbows [2010-09-25 07:33:36 +0000 UTC]

Good question. I usually use A4 size paper. You can experiment other paper sizes to see how it turned out. ^w^

Other than wire, I usually use straw. But you can try using paper, a stick (my 5-year old student did this...), a long lollipop stick... basically you can use anything. What matters is how you attach the flower. I prefer glue or tape and you can cover it up with a green ribbon or some sort. It's based on your own creativity. I would love to see how it turned out though. ^w^ Best of luck to you~

oh okay thank you for the help~ i may have to use 2 sheets of petals, cause mines not that "full" looking~

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

riotfaerie In reply to Catbread-Rainbows [2010-09-25 08:02:39 +0000 UTC]

Another technique of making it look full is by pinching the bottom of the flower when you attach the petal with the other petals. This will help it look full. I hope that's understandable. >x<

Two sheets of paper might help. ^w^
