Just felt like doing something kinda smaltsy. Nick holding Rachel for the first time. No real story behind this. Except that I don't actually have a story in which this happens. In my most common fanon, they have to jump through a lot of hoops to get to see her. I dunno... Just things... But its just supposed to be cute. Hope you enjoy.Related content

"She looked so small, and very delicate, maybe would break by touch alone. I couldn't really understand why such pride and love filled my chest, and this feeling alone made my eyes sting just a little. She's just so small that I was afraid if I held her, she might turn to glass and fall away.
The doctor looked over to me after wiping the blood from the peach toned skin of the beautiful child he was offering to me. 'Would you like to hold your daughter?' He asked me, my green eyes widen as I gaped at him, wondering why he would ask me to pick her up. I'm afraid my touch would burn and crack her skin, then she would fall away.
'It's okay Nick, you can hold her.' I heard Ellis wearily said from the bed, sweat adorned his face, flushed too. Nodding almost absently, I awkwardly positioned my arms the way I would hold a baby, (never held much babies before) and the Doctor carefully placed her in my arms.
Warm, she was so warm that it tingled my skin where she was placed. Disbelief colored my face, she didn't break apart and slip through my fingers as I feared she would if I held her. I couldn't do much but look at her soft face, nothing but look at my child that raised a hand towards me, like asking me to hold her tiny hand."
