Cheeko, a super awesome artist here on DA (I only say it ‘cause it’s true) is holding a contest wherein you draw yourself a dragon persona! (Aka a dragon-you.) The rules were pretty simple and flexible, but the ones I paid most attention to were 1) has to be a dragon (no winged cats and the like), 2) try to make it simple enough that you could draw it regularly, 3) make the persona as much like yourself as possible, 4) you have to have something about you that is expressive of your emotions, and 5) Fang, Fire, and Flight: pick two.

I had a ton of fun designing myself, and as always, I went to town on diagram sketches and such so you can get a real idea of what all of the different features are like. And now I get the fun of explaining everything! Whee!

And before I get started on that: the deadline for this contest isn’t until Oct.31st, for those of you interested in joining!

Super-Long Exposition/Explanation of Detailing!

Overall Color Scheme - The idea that I had to make this persona as much like me as possible (aka no Mary-Sue-ing) really heavily affected my design. I kept my natural brown hair and blue-green eyes, but I chose orange for my basic skin tone because it is one of my favorite colors, and I have found that I look pretty good in orange. The undersides of my wings and the webbing of my ear fins are white because I like white and orange together – you have to admit that they are a good match. Now, for the prominent scales, I chose a mix of brown and crimson red, because both of these colors also match my overall colorscheme (I look good in earth tones for some reason) – and because I couldn’t decide on one or the other. XD

Clothes - I chose simple clothes, partially because of Cheeko suggesting we make a design that would be simple enough to replicate in comic form. (I totally botched this rule with those way-too-complicated scales, but eh! XD) Actually, this worked pretty well because I usually wear ridiculously simple outfits! I own a shirt of that color – I looove that shade of red! – and I like kaki and Capris. You will also notice the cargo pants pocket. I adore cargo pants; the more pockets, the better! Pfff, with how much I like storing stuff, I should have just given myself a kangaroo pouch. XD

Scales - Now, the reason I chose to line myself with these big, thick scales (my orange skin is also scaled, they’re just much smaller) is actually one of the most important special features in my design, because that sprang completely from my personality. I am all about defense, in various uses of the word: from my social skills, in that I tend to get defensive if someone comes at me and dislike intense confrontation (although I am rather argumentative), to the fact that I’m always the one who’s first objective in a group game of Age of Empires is to build a wall all the way around my territory. (I may not get as high a kill count, but my team finds it very helpful when they get trounced and can come hide behind me!) So, defense being important to me = heavy scales.

The scales themselves are actually quite versatile: while extremely tough, they are also slightly supple and can shift over each other to a degree, greatly minimizing any expected restriction of movement. The lines I made on them are to indicate that the scales are all very slightly grooved. This is to both give them texture, show how thick they are, and give them the supple nature they need to keep from being a mobility hazard. The scales on my arms, legs, and feet are harder because they are on areas that don’t bend.

I have more scales on the back of my neck and down my back between my wings, but these are covered by my hair and shirt.

Ears – I chose fins for my ears because I use this style occasionally on my dragons. I think they look cool, and they are fairly unique; I pride myself on my uniqueness, so it seemed fitting. The ears can fold up and down, and shift side to side a little, and that little extra flap in the middle surrounds my ear hole to help direct soundwaves. See, they really ARE ears, not just pieces of decoration!

And the size is helpful. I don’t have the keenest hearing, so I figure I need all the help I can get!

Fire, Fang, and Flight: Pick Two

My pick: Fire and Flight

‘Fang’ - Now, before someone calls me out on the ‘Fangs’ deal, I would like to explain why I can say that I didn’t cheat and use all three. Cheeko defined ‘Fangs’ as ‘Basically, the strength of your jaws and claws. You can bite through metal and chew it into shavings, lift semis over your head with ease and demolish buildings without so much as a scratch.’
I am of perfectly normal strength – which, for a dragon, I would estimate to be about the strength of an adult male who works out a lot. The reason that I drew myself with a snaggle fang, obvious claws, and even the fact that my feet are digitigrades (standing on my toes) is because these are features I ALWAYS include whenever I design a humanoid animal. Pretty much no exceptions. So I deem them to be additions that I can rightly and fairly add without breaking the ‘ick Two’ rule.

Flight – ‘You can fly or you have wings. ‘
Ah, the wings. I had to give myself wings; I can’t imagine being a dragon and not having wings! And, once again, I totally had a reason for my design! (If you haven’t figured it out by now, I detail EVERYTHING, so I hope you’re enjoying this, as it ain’t over yet. XD)

I drew my wings full-body because I am a realist when it comes to things like this: logically, I would not be able to fly if my wings were these great big things that only attached to be at the shoulder. Look at any bat or bird: it wouldn’t make sense. On that same note, I do not consider my wings large enough to support full flying, but I am very capable of gliding. I can even gain a little altitude with a few flaps, but some decently long-distance gliding is the most I can manage.

Also, if you look closely at the main drawing, you’ll see that I have some extra wing membrane there. There is an extra flap on both sides of my backside that attach my legs to my tail, starting at just below the base of my tail. Kind of like what bats and flying squirrels have; the extra ‘wingspan’ gives me a little more lift and helps me stay aloft longer.

And I only colored the undersides white because it wouldn’t have looked right if both sides were white. I fiddled with a striping or splotchy pattern of brown on the backsides, but nothing looked right and so I left them blank.

Fire – ‘You can breathe fire, spit acid, or expel poison (or any other substance) from your mouth.’

Ohh I had fun with this one! First off: I do not breath fire. Cheeko made it clear that if you picked ‘Fire’, you could basically give yourself any substance you wanted. Now, again, I am not an offensive person, but I DO love practical stuff, and being original. So my Fire?

Adhesive.

As you’ll note in the handy little see-through head diagram up there, I have two glands on either side of my snout (like a snake’s venom sacs) that excrete a clear liquid substance. When taken out of my mouth, it proceeds to dry into a solid substance within 30 seconds. It dries clear, and the solidified version has the strength of steel-like concrete (aka something between steel and concrete).

I like this idea, because imagine how handy it would be to have the equivalent of superhuman superglue on hand at all times? If something breaks, I glue it back together. If I get a rip in my clothes, I paste it shut. April Fool’s Day is taken care of with any number of incidents involving gluing people to the desk/floor/computer/pencil/plastic frog. And I don’t have to worry about punching holes in my wings to make my clothes stay on them! (Yes, I even thought about that!) I merely dab my finger in my mouth in the morning, run a streak down the hemline, and I’m set!

And if you’re wondering how I don’t glue my own mouth shut by accident or if I have to wear the same set of clothes for my entire life, the answer is simple: the dissolving solution is my own saliva. Other people’s saliva works okay, too (if they need to free themselves for some reason), but not nearly as quickly.

And as a bonus, the glue tastes faintly sugary.

Expressive Feature – Oh right, almost forgot! We had to give our dragon selves something that displayed moods/emotions. For me, it’s a bit of a dual-action feature: both my wings and my ear fins will shift slightly with my mood, especially if I am very excited, very surprised, or very angry/scared. My ears will almost completely flatten down against my head if I’m freaked out, but both ears and wings will flair out at least a little if I’m excited or enraged. And my ear fins occasionally tilt or twitch when I find something surprising/interesting. I can control this if I think about it, but naturally, one is not usually thinking about these things in the heat of the moment. And I tend to be very emotional, so you’re bound to see my ears twitching at least a little bit most of the time.

Other Fun Facts:
-The snaggle fang on my upper lip is there because I have always, for as long as I can remember, drawn carnivorous animals with that little snaggle fang. I think it was my way of showing they were of the pointy-toothed variety. I have no idea where I picked it up, but I continue to like how it looks to this day, and so of course I would give one to myself! ^^ There's a slight groove on the side of my mouth that the fang fits over, so it isn't awkward.
-The claws on my hands are fully retractable, like a cat’s. The claws on my feet are not.
-I can spit my glue up to six feet on a good day. I’m not a proficient spitter, and the stuff is really not that handy as an offensive weapon, anyways.
-See how my clothes fit seamlessly around my wings? Wondering how I do it without tying them on? Simple: dab some glue along the hemline of that shirt and it’ll stay put all day!
-I don’t have anything on the end of my tail like most dragons do because I couldn’t think of anything that worked.
-Just because I don’t have super strength doesn’t mean I’m defenseless. I won’t use my claws unless I have to, but my wings and tail are pretty powerful in their own right. A solid hit from either would be like getting a very hard punch. (Ever been hit by a bird’s wing? Them things are serious business!)

And that's that! If you actually made it through all that text, you are officially awesome. Please be so kind as to leave a # in your comment if you'd like to show me that I'm not just talking to myself here.

(# ) Ooooh, what a cool design! Orange dragons FTW! I especially love the glue-spitting thing. Ingenious! You might just be more useful than duct tape!

I love that you were so detailed in your explanation. It's so fascinating reading why different people chose certain traits to represent themselves.

Aw, thanks so much! YESS ORANGE IS THE BEST COLOR FOR DRAGONS! /o/ Heehee, thanks, that's my favorite feature! I love handy stuff, and apparantly no one else thought of it, so I am pleased! *gasp* But more useful than DUCT TAPE? Can there BE such a thing in the universe?

Thanks, I'm glad! I was starting to worry that I made it too long, since a lot of people are much more concise. I agree, it's a ton of fun reading why people picked certain features! That's a lot of why I liked your design so much! And thanks for reading that big conglomerate, 'tis always nice to know that my detailed explanations were appreciated!

Hey, duct tape may be able to hold stuff together, but can it do dragon stuff? NO! You, on the other hand, can use your spit to hold stuff together and do dragon stuff! By my logic, that makes you more useful than duct tape, as difficult as it is to fathom.

Just don't let that go to your head. I'm your captain now, remember?

And you're more than welcome! Your description shows you put a lot of thought into your design.

I have somehow managed to reach an unprecedented new level of awesome without knowing it!!!

My new self-promotion shall be: 'Riverfox - Better Than Duct Tape'

>.> Well, hey, we could interpret it as you being made awesome by having such a better-than-duct-tape crewmember, so it would even out!

I love thinking up all of the little details behind any of my characters - I think that's one of the reasons this was so much fun! It's real good to hear that things made sense, and that it was an interesting read; I'd hate to bore people with my prattling! If it's as interesting for you, the viewer, as it was for me, the creator, then I have succeeded!

lol!! I just envisioned you in a Superman pose, wearing a cape (hard to manage with wings, I'd imagine), and with the caption "Better Than Duct Tape" scrawled across the bottom of the page. Can fix small pencils with a single spit! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's an orange dragon!!

Just make sure you use your Superior Powers of Adhesion for the forces of good.

">.> Well, hey, we could interpret it as you being made awesome by having such a better-than-duct-tape crewmember, so it would even out!" -> Touche, my winged friend. Touche.

XD Yessss! That is so perfect, because I have a character who wears a cape and - yes. That would so happen. Oh man, I would definitely try and pull off a cape even with my wings. And then I'd probably end up getting tangled up in it when I try to take off. XD

"UP, UP, AND AWAA-ack!" *falls off of building struggling with cape*

Ooo, I LIKE that! 'Superior Powers of Adhesion'. 8D It makes me sound like I actually know what I'm doing!

Riverfox the magic dragon
lived by the sea~

I'll admit I don't really know what you look like, but this dragon definitely makes me think of you. It looks like you did the lineart on the computer; did you? It turned out lovely and clean, but I like that I can still see some of your pencil shading, which is always my favorite part. And I just have to say, that diagram of your hand with the retractable claws looks amazing! There's something really believable about the way you posed it. I like the way those big overlapping scales turned out, too.

Glue spitting has got to be the coolest power there ever was. And the weird thing is, I don't think it's ever been done before. I can't think of an super heroes or mythical creatures with adhesive powers, so I guess you would be the first! Also, good solution with the wings. I guess I never really thought about it before, but winged characters still need a way to wear clothes, don't they? (Ronnie usually just rips through hers whenever she wants to fly. ) And that you tack the clothing on with glue is certainly practical. I hope it washes out alright...

# <-- I now declare myself officially awesome.

XD

No, I actually inked it! Yes, I bought real true-blue inking pens from the craft story! I've been having a ball using them, and they really give my lines a more refined look. ^^

I'm glad my leaving in the pencil shading went over so well. And I'm glad you like the hand! It looks real because I modeled it after my own hand, and then added the claws. I agree, that is one of my favorite little pieces on here. ^^ I love how it came out.

Do you think the scales look alight, color-wise? Honestly, I'm not 100% satisfied with the colors. If you have any suggestions, I would be more than happy to hear them! I've always like the overlapping scale look, but this may be the first time I've gotten to use it.

XD Dang, thanks! And you know...that's really hilarious, because I actually DO have a superheroine named Adhesa who's powers are glue-based. I think the closest might be Clayface from Batman, but he's a mud-creature who just hardens his mud, so it's not QUITE the same. Heee, I love being told I'm original! Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

Lol, I love bringing up these little facts that most people have forgotten about because everyone is just so used to accepting them. And no worries, once I mix slather a little saliva on there (gross as that may sound XD), it comes right off!

You are, indeed, officially awesome. Congratulations! *tosses confetti*

Excellent, what brand did you get? It turned out really nice. And combined with your pencil shading it gives a really interesting effect; I never would have thought to combine the two mediums.

The scales look fine to me, you pulled off that look well. I like what you did with the colors, combining the brown and red to match the rest of the colorscheme.

Oh, he's made of mud, it doesn't count. Actually, now I've been trying to think of this all day.

Riverfox237 In reply to YamiRedPen [2009-10-05 23:09:16 +0000 UTC]

It's called Millenium; I bought a 0.1 and a 0.5. The 0.1 is better for the actual linework while the .5 is great for filling in black spots if I'm so inclined. ^^ And I wouldn't have, either! But another friend of mine said that's what he does, when I mentioned to him that I can't shade in pen. It works pretty well together, doesn't it? (Except for that one pic of the back of the wing. I think I maybe should have not inked the outline on that one.)

Thanks. I still don't quite like how they look, though; I feel like the lineart is lost in the muddy colors and how they blend with the orange. I might fiddle with it a little, although I doubt I'll change it for my actual entry.

XD Awesome! Let me know if you actually think of anybody. Until then, I shall bask in the realization that I actually came up with an original superpower. ;D I do try, you know, but all the good ones are taken. Adhesa's twin brother has power over light particles, if that interests you at all. I'm still trying to decide if it is at all viable that he'd be able to creat solid shields of light...since, you know, light isn't normally very good at stopping things. But he can blind you, and he is currently working on lasers (red light waves) and super heat (blue light waves). He mostly works with yellow/white at the moment.

I'm not familiar with all the brands that are out there, but they sound like they work pretty well. I've always been a fan of staedler and micron. I actually used to shade in pen quite a lot, but I've gotten out of practice ever since I started using photoshop. There was this guy from my highschool who did everything in ballpoint pen, and he was amazing at it. He used to do really cool warped character designs, and I recall that for some reason he liked drawing clowns and people with top hats. Blue and I named a character after him.

The combination of of pencil and pen does work really well in this case. I would argue that it works for that wing as well, but that it almost feels like more of it should be in pen, like the ridges in between the membrane, and then pencil for shading. It might help with balancing it out a bit.

I happen to love rich, muddy colors, so I have no complaints. If you're worried about losing the lineart, you could always experiment with highlights and shadows.

Okay, I've been obsessing over this all week, and the best I could come up with was that one of the villains from DragonballZ could like, change its body into a sticky bubblegum like substance or something. (It's been a while, I don't really remember the details.) If her brother has power over light particles, he could use it to blind people by not letting any light reflect into their eyes, and create illusions and that kind of thing, right? That would be a pretty useful power. I'm not sure how shields would work out from a scientific standpoint, but if you figure it out be sure to let me know!

I think the strangest power from our cast of characters is probably Cameron's. She's a photopath, and can create zombie-like replicas of people out of photographs. I'm not really sure what that would be useful for.

I just picked these up at Jo-Ann Fabrics; they were sold by themselves and cheaper as a pair than the three-set that was also available, so I just got those two.

XD Sounds like a fun guy! I WISH I understood how to shade in pen. Honestly, it completely aludes me; all of my shading experience and practice has always revolved around how hard you press on the pencil or at what angle; neither of these really apply with pen. I'll have to completely relearn shading for that.

You know, maybe highlights and shadows WOULD help. And I like muddy colors, too, I just wasn't sure if these worked. I think it's growing on me, though. ^^

XD You've really been thinking about this, haven't you? Not that I have a problem with that; I like finding out my superpower is original!
I'm not sure if he has illusions down, since that would involve all different colors/wavelengths of light. He could probably develop up to that point, but at the moment he is stuck with yellow, white, and limited blue, red, and ultraviolet (all of which he is practicing). Yeah, I agree that it doesn't really make sense, but if I can figure out a way for it to work then doggonit, I'm going for it! XD

Of course, the fact that his twin sister can make rock-hard shields out of her glue works pretty well, since they can work in tandem! She's the hard-hitter, and he targets the visual senses.

...XD That is amazing. The closest I have ever seen to that power was in Static Shock, when this guy who could duplicate accidentally made a clone of Static. He wasn't quite 'zombie-like', though, and it was totally an accident.

There's all sorts of uses for that! Halloweens at her house must be a blast!

I got mine at Office Depot, never thought to check a fabric store. It just bugs me that they don't sell them at art stores.

But it might be fun to try new things. When I was doing cartoons for my high-school newspaper, I had to shade everything in pen because pencil didn't show up well. It was a cool skill to learn, not that I've used it much since then.

SPIDERMAN. How could I have forgotten SPIDERMAN. Creating sticky adhesive webs is like, the WHOLE BASIS OF HIS POWERS.

Huh. Maybe as he gets older and experiments more with his powers he'll find more uses for them, but for now I'd say blinding people and creating lasers is pretty useful in and of itself. Sounds like they make a pretty good team.

Cameron's zombie replicas gradually get smarter the longer they live, until they can function just like the original person (while still being evil and loyal to Cameron). Sasha is briefly replaced by one of them until Mirror figures out which one is the real her. Which for him isn't too hard cause he can read minds.

Unfortunately she's a villain, so it's not too fun... Except maybe for me, because I like to torture my characters.

I'm starting to regret buying these ones; the 0.1 pen is going dry on me already. > Maybe I'll try one of your brands. What did you say they were again?

How did you do it? Crosshatching? And that is pretty cool. I ALMOST got to do some comics for the school newspaper, but I think I was so lazy and didn't get the comics entered.

....And WOW I am so glad I decided to link to your whole original comment, because stupid DA took my scroll-bar away and I thought your comment ended right there! Close one!

Ohhhh, this is TRUE! ....But it's still not the same! Those are WEBS. They are permanently stuck in a thin, string-like delivery system. Whereas my glue powers are literally more like a paste. And Adhesa can harden or soften her glue, even alter how stretchy or sticky it is, with her MIND. So, obviously superior to Spiderman. ^^

They do. I just hope I can actually find something to DO with them! They might end up in my book series, but if they did, they would be somewhat minor characters.

Dude, that is really cool! Wait, who is Mirror?
Man, we SO need to get back to those Notes where you were telling me all about this story! I want to hear more! And are you guys ever going to make a webcomic out of this thing? Because I WILL BE YOUR FIRST FAN!

Pfff XD Of course.

Staedler and Micron have both worked well for me.

Yeah, mostly crosshatching, though I think with some practice you can shade with a regular ballpoint pen the same way you would with a pencil.

That's true, still, you have to admit sticky stuff is defiantly part of Spiderman's powers.

Or you could do some short stories, and give them one all their own.

Oh, right, I think I mentioned it in a note but it's been a while. Mirror is Ten's nickname, his full name being Miru Ten, but everyone calls him Mirror because of his reflective eyes and ability to imitate other people's powers. And we'd like to, but I'm just so busy right now!

I couldn't find any pens at Office Depot that were 0.1, so I had to buy another of the kind that dried out on me. Sure hope it was just that one pen. These stupid things cost 3 bucks!

How would you do that? I can't get pens to cooperate in a pencil-like way. And man, my arrogance is showing; we learned crosshatching in the drawing class I took in high school, and I totally skimmed through it 'cause I was so confident in my pencil shading. Didn't even occur to me that it might be handy for pen art at the time.

Well, I don't know if sticky stuff is DEFIANTLY part of his powers, but yes, it is definitely a big part.

This is true. Ack, man, I SHOULD turn some of these into short stories! Then maybe I would actually get them WRITTEN. Geoff would make a great short story, wouldn't he?

Ohhhh, okay! That actually does sound vaguely familiar now. And I did not know he would mimick powers! Cool! I thought he was just all...nano-botty.

I can definitely understand that. I SHOULD be working on this scholarship thing since it's due so soon, but I'm having such a hard time coming up with a plot...maybe you could give me some ideas. The challenge is to write a sort of Choose Your Own Adventure story, with the plotline somehow centering on a global issue. I just can't quite decide which one so I can get to researching it. It sounds like such fun, but it's due in a month.

Snazzy! For some reason, my favorite parts of the picture are the wing and tail sketches in the corners. The lines and shading are so smooth and nice.

And hee. Glue-spitting is probably the most original dragon-related idea I've heard in a while. It surely has many more practical (and less destructive) uses than just setting things on fire!

Oh yeah, I see what GhostLiger means there; for just standing and walking around, you'd probably have to lean forward more to balance your wings when they're stretched out to the back. It looks like the central drawing was meant to be more of a diagram than an "in action" illustration, though, so it still works well. And the pose in the lower left looks very cool and well balanced.

Ah, this makes me think that a dragon persona would be fun to have!

Nicely done all around.

Aw, that's great! I'm glad you liked them; I love doing little detail drawings and such, and I did want to show how the ribbing is less obvious on the back of the wing - thus, the pencil shading. Thank goodness I finally figured out how to scan my pencil shadings without letting the computer wash it out! /o/

Thanks, that's what I was aiming for! And exactly. Fire is only good for burninating and heating up cold food. Think of all the uses of glue!

Ahhh, thanks for explaining that! I think I see what you mean. It was mostly a 'diagram' picture, as you say, so thankfully that cancels out the problem. I'll have to remember that, although I'm wondering if my increased strength (and the fact that my wings aren't very big/heavy) would make too much extra bending entirely necessary. I suppose I could just bend my knees more. *strokes chin thoughtfully*

Dude, you should do it! That would be awesome fun to see. And like I said, the contest is open until the end of October if you want to take a shot at the prize. (XD Here I am, inviting more competition! But eh, I don't think I'm gonna win, anyways, so it doesn't really matter.)

Thanks, Aja! ^^

Ya... you're talking to yourself... Oh okay, if you insist#

Nothing wrong with not having a shape on the end of your tail

My one concern is the coloured picture of Dragon!Riverfox. You're standing a bit too upright. But otherwise

*snerk* You're so mean.

Danke! I kinda wish I'd given myself at least a little point, but eh. Oh well.

I didn't get what you meant at first, until I read Vanilleon's comment. I guess I see what you mean, although I don't know if I would be more bent over or if I would just bend my knees more. Or we could cheat and just say that I'm so strong, I don't need to bend to support my wings!

Thank you for the lovely comment. ^^

Moi? Mean?

Well, you can always edit that in for a later pic.

I would've said lean forward and make the bone between the knee and the ankle a bit shorter.

When doing poses you need to think about where the center of gravity is. For the most stability it needs to be in the center of your body. As it stands now, Dragon!Riverfox's center of gravity is almost in the center of that outstretched wing, whereas if she were to lean forward, that would bring the wings upward and move the center of gravity closer to her body

*Shakes fist at Manual Handling course she learnt that from*

Possibly! But I'll probably just leave it alone. ^^ It might be fun to experiment with, though.

Hm! I can see the leaning forward, but I wouldn't have thought of making that bone shorter. Interesting. I will consider this in the future.

That does make sense, and I can sorta see what you mean here. I suppose it wouldn't hurt her to lean in a little, although I assume you just mean when her wings are outstretched. When her wings are folded in, they fit pretty neatly and flatly against her(my) body, reducing the whole displaced-center-of-gravity problem. For example, see the left (my right) wing on that little doodle of me in the corner. That one is in the fully folded position. (The other one is unfolded just a little.)

XD Nothing wrong with a better understanding of physics! If I'd retained anything from my high school Physics class, I probably would have noticed that.

You could do a catwalk with tail-ends

Yeah, you'll only need to lean slightly with the wings folded.

It does help, I'll admit!

I read everything because I luff you so much!

It all looks really good. It's obvious that you had a blast making it too. As always, I think your wings rock. You can draw me with wings anytime.

D'aw! ^^ Luff you, too!

(Oh btw, I only just got your phone message yesterday! Sorry I missed you! When is a good time to call?)

Thank youuu, I'm glad you like it! ^^ Aw, I didn't know you liked my wings so much! (Pff, you probably told me but you know how bad my memory is. XD) Heehee. Perhaps, perhaps. *strokes chin thoughtfully*

On that note, actually, do you HAVE a persona? I've been toying with this idea related to personas, see, and you having one would be helpful.

You know, I don't think I have a persona. But I do have a muse. Her name is Trixy and she likes shiny things. She's got white hair and gold eyes and wears mostly lilac. Hmmm ... but I don't think I'd want you to draw her with wings. Not that I'd mind you drawing her. If you're interested, I'll give you more info.

I'll keep thinking of the persona. Hmm, do you think you could draw me riding Heuco though? I'm hoping you remember my favorite mountain lion and best friend from my imaginary friend days.

Got your Note about your persona, and I shall reply accordingly this evening! (Have to go to work right now, y'see.) Your muse sounds cute. ^^

Maybe someday I shall!
