"Wow, you're really jumpy," says Roy. "Hey, you're right, maybe it has something to do with people unexpectedly appearing from behind in ways that my logical brain still considers impossible," muses Gwen.
Hey look, it's that guy again! So tell me honestly, is anyone surprised about what his power actually turned out to be? Or are you still confused? Don't worry, it will be explained in more detail at some point.
And here's the second strip I promised, guys! One week until Christmas, WHOO! Actually, my family celebrated Christmas last night because my bro and his fiance were in town, but I'm still excited because it feels like having three holiday weekends in a row.
I've got that Christmas picture I promised inked up, just trying to figure out some final computer edits before I post it. It's been a rocky month in some ways, and I haven't been online as much, but I promised you guys some strips and by goodness you will have those strips! (Also I'm feeling better this week, yay. ^^) I hope you all are enjoying your December and have exciting plans for celebrating Christ's birthday! See you soon!

Ok, first off, I just noticed how old this comic page is. Not that there´s something wrong with that, but I may be a bit worried that there might not be more of it anytime soon. Or are you just taking a break from uploading while preparing the next few pages so you can upload them on a more regular basis without having to worry about deadlines?
Anyway, what I originally wanted to say: The only thing that could make this already great comic better, at least in my opinion, is a little spin-off comic solely for world building, where, for example, Gwen directly adresses the audience and talks about stuff as if it were a Vlog of sorts. It wouldn´t have an over-arching story, just Gwen sitting in her room and talking to the readers about the stuff she´s been through lately. For example, she could explain the different games, as I´m sure many people would like to learn about these.
Or, if you just introduced a new character and your readers find him/her interesting but you don´t have any big plans for that character, you can have this character take over Gwen´s Vlog, even if just from time to time.
This can add a lot of depth to your world without you having to worry about adding world building arcs to your comic, as they´d become boring over time and would feel forced if done wrong. And trust me, there´s nothing harder to pull off properly than world building.
Man, I sound far more professional than intended...

Yeah, it's on hiatus at the moment. I haven't "officially" released it as a webcomic yet, which is why I've only been posting it on my DA, mostly to get some feedback and encouragement. I plan to get 50 strips done before I make it its own website, then I'll have a nice buffer!

Ah, ok. After all, there´s various means of worldbuilding, and I only described one of them.
Looking back at it, it wouldn´t really fit your comic. It´s basically based on the World of Remnant videos RoosterTeeth uploads from time to time to explain a bit more about, you guess it, the world of Remnant, the planet on which the series RWBY takes place.
Did you watch RWBY yet? It´s a rather interesting series you can find on youtube. The world is really well fleshed-out, even though most of the world building happens in these World of Remnant videos, the characters are relatable and, to top it all off, some of them are based on fairy tale characters, mythological figures or people that have their own legend revolving around them.

Next come the White, Black and Yellow trailers, and when you´re through with them, you can get right to Volume 1 Chapter 1 (don´t know why they use book terminology for a series, but who cares anyway, as long as it´s awesome).

I've watched an episode of RWBY, but I couldn't really fall in love with the art style, it seemed strange to me. That's just a personal preference, though; I know plenty of people enjoy it. (And to be fair, I probably don't need to give myself ANOTHER show to watch XD)
