(And my 3rd and final submission before Jan.1!)

For those who don’t understand what is going on, this is another Urban Pirate Dragon crew piece. I was actually writing a little written piece to go before this, but due to business, procrastination, and forgetfulness, it did not get done. So, in summation:

RzR (pronounced ‘Ar-zer’ ) lost his coat in our fight.

We claimed it.

We got an awesome idea to use the coat to lure him in.

He came to retrieve his coat.

The coat was booby-trapped with a bag of my glue, and somehow, RzR’s ninja-ness did not manage to save him from getting plastered.

So now we have RzR trapped with his tail in a chunk of my glue (for mobility! Having his feet stuck to the ground would mean we’d have to keep moving the ship so he could get to everything), cleaning the Ninja Gryphon graffiti that he did not cause off of our beloved ship The Burninator. Because even though he wasn’t responsible, there really is no good excuse for a ninja to have fallen for such an obvious trap.
Pirates rule, RzR. Pirates rule. (Don’t worry, we’ll let him go later. I’m too nice to let Mav keep him as a galley slave or something equally silly like that.)

By the way, Yubria and Doodles are off-screen trying to clean off RzR’s coat. It’s coated in my glue-spit, which is why RzR is not wearing it. I have bottles of special solvent I’ve made up that can be used to dissolve the glue without my having to stand around spitting on the object, but it’s probably still gonna take them a while. (For those who’ve forgotten, the dissolving fluid for my glue is my own spit. I basically mixed it with water in a spray bottle and said, “Here, spritz it a couple dozen times, rinse, and repeat.” )
Hey, I’m not gonna make the guy clean off our ship AND lose his coat to permanent stickiness. Plus it’s a cool trenchcoat. (I know, I’m way too nice to be a pirate. But we never said we were the world’s most effective pirates. ;D)

And I’m standing guard so that, if RzR tries to break free from his gluey tail bondage, I can morph to Full Form and spack a whole lot more on him. I’m willing to bet he’ll just go ahead and clean off the ship, as it is the lesser of two injustices.

Other inside jokes:
-We have long since decided that at some point, Cheeko, our not-a-ninja crewmember, would try to steal Captain Mav’s hotdog. I am immensely pleased that I was at last able to portray it.
-Wing’s Full Form! She is only a foot long in her Dragonflye form, and it was the most wonderfully convenient way to get another crewmember into the picture! Obviously, I tried to fit in as many as I could. ;D And Wings, I would like to formally declare that I know next to nothing about knitting, so you have my deepest apologies for any mutilation I have done to proper knitting form.
-Dragonrise/Jess’s tail. Jess is the lookout, so it made sense that she might actually be up on the mast ‘looking out’. And so we see her lovely tail. She’s saying something about hearing a siren, but we’re probably ignoring her right now due to her not actually sounding overly panicked about it. We usually bolt if she starts yelling.
-The Gryphon Ninjas strike again! Our arch-nemesis is devious, spray-painting our beloved Burninator with ninja propaganda in the night!

I am very pleased with how this came out; everyone looks more or less right! I would be happier if I had that written piece up to go before it (it was going to show us going back to the ship where Wings was trying to clean the graffiti off herself as punishment for almost getting us killed in traffic thanks to trying to merge while knitting, and her subsequent happiness over a plot that would get her out of it), but the picture looks pretty good itself. And now I can add the Best Boat I’ve Ever Drawn to the Best Truck and Best Cannon! Thankfully, this is significantly better-looking than my Best Cannon. XD
