Alright, here's a bit of a tutorial on Muro.ΒI know it can be confusing, but please read through it.
The best way to learn any program is by experimenting with it, so go on Muro and PRESS SOME BUTTONS!!! XD
Although, I do hope this helps a bit.

Connect it to the part where you started, making a full shape.

Wait, wait, wait. So, when I've connected the lines so that they create an outline, how do i make the lines disappear? Like if i'm done using them, how do I stop using one outline so i can go on to draw another?

You have to use the select tool again and click somewhere else. That should make the lines disappear.

Um, Riverspirit how do you keep the color from covering the lineart inside the character do you color on the line layer or do you color on a new layer?

You make a new layer for the color, then make sure that new layer is beneath the line layer.
That will make the color go beneath the line.

Muro DOES have an inverse selection option, actually. I use it all the time, just different than how you use it
