You accidentally a Baron Blade. The resemblance is seriously uncanny.

I've always thought Doc Strange needed a redux... And I love the tailcoat.

This really rocks and is a nice, modern take on a character that's always been one of my favorites. Well done.

Doctor Strange and Doctor Fate are my favorite comic characters. Have you done one about doctor fate. I like the coat, but it is a little too baggy. And I like how the belt buckle looks like the image imprinted on his traditional shirt. Add a little gold trimming, the Eye of Agamotto is supposed to be gold.

I'm loving the black and red, but the grey I'm not too sure about...maybe if you added some white?
But this is pretty damn awesome anyways!

This is awesome. Marvel needs to use this for the movie coming out in 2013!

Colors are perfect (I still can't believe they used so much yellow & white in his first and follow-up outfits), the clothing is bangin (tight where it needs to be and loose where it should be), and the coat is spectacular (oversized collars are for war games where you don't need to actually move your arms).
Using silver for the mystic artifacts made more sense here than gold, as Gold was really only considered 'precious' in certain European areas and eras. Silver was considered 'pure & holy' in the more global format. If he was more of monst (which he isn't) I would have given him silver runes/glyphs on his gloves and boots.

Wow, this is a really nice version of the character! i like the slightly broader, heavier build you're given him - Dr Strange was meant to be a martial arts expert too but he tends to be drawn a bit weedy in the comics, y'know?
This costume and apparel is that of a sorceror, but his build and stature tells you that he could kick your ass if nessecary.
Its a different take on the character, but i really like it! Well done!

Pretty badass, but I agree with others who mentioned it doesn't really fit the character. If Stephen had an evil twin though, this is definitely him.

the concept was to modernize him. so that's why he isn't wearing the classic Ditko outfit. i tried to tie in subtle established design cues from that costume, but not the original color scheme.

It looks less like Dr. Strange and more like Ra's Al-Ghul.

It's more the package then any one thing. The black widow's peak with streaks of white, the facial hair that doesn't quite come together over his top lip, the sharp, thin eyes that aren't looking so much as glaring contemptuously. Not to mention the outfit that, honestly, looks like the sort of thing that a haughty supervillain, and not a superhero, would wear.
It all fits Ra's very well, to the point that I doubt anyone would have even thought in passing that it could be Doctor Strange if you hadn't labeled it as such.

O.K. thanks. i must stress that that when doing redesigns. sometimes moving to far from what's already established can be difficult for people to digest. but it's only when you move away from what is established is when you get something original. or in this case maybe something that reminds people of something else. thanks again for the comment.

I think that it's an awesome interpretation of Dr. Strange! To everyone their own, I say. Good job, keep it up.

This is a really great picture and Dr. Strange looks cool, but he doesn't look much like Dr. Strange. I prefer his usual outlandish outfits that suit his arrogance.
But that's just me. I love the picture anyway.

While the one they used was good, this would have been a much better design.
