Yeah, that's real. When Microsoft said they removed it, they practically lied. And thanks to changes to DWM, it happens that you can now have your Desktop Composition and Classic Theme at the same time. It's really fast, but there are a lot of issues, and we need developers who can help fix those. If you're interested, head to WinClassic: winclassic.boards.net/(had to butcher the title to fit in, sorry about the engrish)

That's easy, just run everything in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3 ._.

As I said above, everything. Problem is, some applications don't work in compatibility mode, or don't work in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3. But for those that do, have fun with your Windows 7 Basic Theme borders (yes, even if you're on Windows 8.x or 10 .-. )

Ehh...
- Taskbar is extremely volatile, doesn't drop its metro appearance when the Classic Theme is active, doesn't display text at all
- Task View is kill
- UWP Apps sometimes don't work, and have Metro-style titlebars when they do
- Startmenu is somewhat herpderp at times, often having random letters floating on top of the programs list (Anniversary Update may have corrected this, oddly)
- Some applications which overuse extended glass titlebars (such as Google Chrome and Microsoft office 2007 - 2010) have no titlebars or _ [=] X caption buttons at all
- Other stuff I can't think of right now
It works better on 8.1, k? (It's actually quite usable on 8.1...good luck on 10 though .-. )
