Thanks very much . But I am compelled to correct you in that I indeed DO use references . I don't know of anyone who can draw that realistic (least of all me) without doing so . I do photo shoots of the characters in costume and use them. The main character is actually me

really? that makes it even more awesome!! and it's bit of a relief for me every time I hear that other artists do use loads of references themselves
