This truly has fascinated me. It is a subject that has been portrayed over and over in science-fiction and that has inspired tales for as long as humanity has imagined 'human robotics' in the widest form.

I admit I have pondered such possibilities myself, especially if you were to lose a loved one and had the ability to recreate them, transfer their memory engrams and make them live again without restrictions of biological body.

In addition to the utterly brilliantly executed idea I love the little details, the newspaper article about the killed woman, the readout showing the data transfer into the positronic matrix of the android and all the countless other little bits and pieces that clutter around the scene that truly give the impression of a tinkerer's laboratory.

To add some more atmosphere to the scene I have a couple more suggestions though. I am not entirely sure where the light sources are that provide the lighting and especially make the 'tool wall' in the background look a little out of place (only in terms of lighting). It would have been cool to have a light overhead (something maybe you'd see in an operating theater) to provide a centralized light source and give the overall scene a more sinister atmosphere as the surroundings would have to appear darker.

While I also love the photograph in the scientist’s hand, I would think that a digital pad of some kind (maybe a pocket PC or some kind of Thinkpad or whatnot) with a blueprint and the photo on the display and some readouts would have added another extra kick. Also maybe you could have added some additional cabling to the android's head to further intensify the idea of memory engrams being transferred into the positronic brain, especially as it would be the most crucial event to ensure that the android would eventually be able to function as the person lost.

Overall this truly is excellent though and I find myself looking at it over and over and am still discovering new details! Well done.

It's good, but there are a couple of places where things don't seem to quite mesh well...they're lower quality compared to the rest of the image. I like it though.

Saving the newspaper page of her death is one way to mess that robot up if it ever sees it.
Also, nice job.
