Description So in this series, in addition to coming up with new designs, I decided to revisit some older ones and take another stab at them.

I wasn't entirely happy with Bodytype's original look.  There was nothing really wrong with it, it just really didn't say "Shapeshifter" to me.  Or look that much like a superhero outfit.  Plus, I decided that I wanted to use the whole "Metal skinned female" look for another character in another project of mine.  And with that, I took another stab at her design.

I thought having a stark, black and white look for her would suit the idea of her being a shapeshifter a lot more.  Her face and "hair" being the same color of her bodysuit would add to that heir of mystique around her, and make her look less like someone just wearing a catsuit and more into someone who causes someone to question where the costume stops and the rest of her body begins.  I also liked making her hair look more plasticy and clay like, to add to the notion that her form is more mouldable.

I'm far happier with this design for her character overall.  And for an added bit of fun, I threw in another one of my characters- the Cheshire Cat- to show off Bodytype's shapeshifting prowess.

Heh, "heir of mystique" (you probably meant "air", but seeing as she's inspired by your love of Mystique, it still works as a pun)

I think the only critique I can say about the picture is how that wrapping for holding the gun holder looks a bit loser on her than on her original design. From what it looks like to me.

EDIT:
Correction, it looks like its lower on the body than on the original design. Though that might be because of the pose she is at.

This was the design of Bodytype I saw first, and I really fell in love with this design.

And I do love this new change to the character, I think it stands out better than the previous design. And I definitely agree with you that this one looks more superhero-like.

If its okay to ask, what was this other project you was referring to?

It's just a personal project I'm working on.  I'm not going to be releasing the designs online.  It's more just for me at this point than anything else.

I like how you incorporated the powers here. Its always fun to do that with Shapeshifting characters.

Good idea on the stark black and white base for a shapeshifter.
