The last of the forms, and the other form to only be featured in the Shadow Lady artbook, the Insect form is my favorite out of all six.

As with the Rose Flower form, I was kind of stuck on how to make this image stand out, not just wanting to go with a static, blank background. I hit upon the idea of having a hexagonal, hive like pattern behind the figure, to help hammer home the "Insect" imagery of the design. It's not as detailed as the Rose drawing, but it did take a little bit of planning to figure out the pattern and how to depict it on the page.
