Description
Here is the colored version of this Thor fan art piece I have been working on.Did this from start to finish in Procreate on the iPad Pro! I am pretty happy about that because I am doing my best to be totally mobile with my work. Well, except for my video recordings. Ah, one day I suppose! Let me know what you think and more on the way!

Hi started using autodesk sketch book, concepts, and clip studio paint, on my Ipad pro more. How do I use procreate? I have the app but is there a tutorial of how to use it and all the functions and updates it has?

Very nice work! But I have couple questions. If you wouldn't mind answering them, that would be awesome.
How do you get the ink lines so smooth? What shape do you use to create your brush preset so that it mimics a crow quill but has the digital smoothness that I'm seeing in this piece?

I have a few techniques to achieve these effects. One is that I turn up a small amount of the “Streamline” setting in the brush. For the brush tip I use a condensed oval or a condensed pyramid like shape. Even a small round tip will work fine but I like the edge I get with the custom tips. I also adjust the “Pressure Curve” when I am inking. Also, I use layers and erase back the lines to create more edge effects. Lastly, I vary up the speed in which I create the brush strokes. Not all my lines are created the at the same speed which helps to get more variety in my inking.
I will be making some more in depth videos on this topic on my YouTube channel very soon so please be on the lookout. Thank you for your comment and glad you like the work! 😎
