Curiously, another problem that arises with dominant genes is that there still might be a recessive gene next to it meaning that the recessive one could be passed on as well.
Since we don't know for sure if robert's hair-genes are purely made out of the dominant "Black"-gene (d+d= appearance of dominant gene) or if there is the recessive "Blond"-gene (d+r= appearance of dominant gene) next to it (and since we can't find this out with the technology they have), we can't exclude that his children could have blonde hair. Especially since Cersei is a blonde herself (which means that her hair-genes are purely blond, because r+r= appearance of recessive gene).
Even thought Ned and co might not have known all rules of Mendel (and these rules might not even have been discovered in their world yet), the statement that geoffrey and else can't be robert's children because they have blond hair alone is kind of flawed. Unless there were like around hundred of children from cersei that were all blonde (and only then it would be fishy).
I'm sorry to say Ned but your "black-blond" argument alone just doesn't work, if we investigate this case strickly.

I bet that there'll be something to do in the books regarding the colors of the hair of kids or something and it won't be able to explain it in the show.
