I hated Operation Overdrive and never saw boukenger, but I know the show was 11 times the epic of it's American Counterpart.

Admission about Boukenger: personally I think the filler episodes are just insane and awesome. But to get to them...you have to get through some really crummy continuity episodes. Without spoiling, one set of villains pretty much de-evolve into a certain mouse duo after a certain point, one gets a waste of a story plot that only shows up at certain points early on and at the end that really means nothing, and the so called "secret past" of another of of the main Boukenger turns into a complete waste of time...even though outside that mess, they're one of the most fun of the team.
My mini-review: if you can survive the crap, you will be rewarded. That's Boukenger in a nutshell.

It really is a flawed season with some good ideas and fun things going on but there is better to watch. I was so hyped to do Boukenger and still had fun with it but it feels like a piece of candy: great while eating it but you won't miss it when it's gone.

well I guess cause Turboranger is older then they used to be, Carranger was designed to be a parody of Turboranger and Boukenger well they only fight when it's needed (btw I love all 4 of those sentai)
