Remember all those crazy sticky notes? [link] The reason I did all those was because I'd just finished the line-work for the two middle pages of this set and everybody was still rattling around in my head. I've been very excited to post this page, and I hope that I got everybody more-or-less in character. I tried! Please forgive me if I totally screwed somebody up!
Mainly I was thinking to myself how such strange strangers would (or would not) get along if thrown together. So far, Kalo and Hazel seem to be the only voices of reason. Bendam covers the snark department, Bejyn is understandably protective, and Becca is...well...herself. I loved her dialog censor boxes. They make me giggle every time I see them.
Also, I know Cecelia has met Puck before, but he's a shape-shifter, so she hasn't seen this version of him. As such, there's no recognition there.

Cecilia's memory retention is sketchy - there's a very good chance she could have forgotten Puck. The different way we draw them overly qualifies as a disguise too~

True. I hadn't considered the memory retention part for her lack of recognition for Puck, actually. So yay for double coverage.

I enjoy reading your scenarios & interpretations of other peoples characters. You develop their reasoning and interactions so thoroughly that just stumbling over this comic might convince me they are all your own creations~ I think you do them credit, since they make me wanna go and check out their origins/backstories.
It's hard not to admire all the hard-working artists participating in this "tournament", since many people would balk at drawing characters not their own, or within their usual bubble of expertise.

I actually find drawing other people's characters a very refreshing challenge, as other creators often come at character creation in ways very different than any I would normally consider. I love trying to get into a new character's head to try and guess at what makes them tick. Sometimes I get it, other times I don't, but I'm glad it's at least convincing!
