Description This is simply a slipcast teapot. It is cast from a mold I made then pit fired, and finally re-fired to cone 04 with a clear glaze.

did you loose much of the cool nastey pit fired look when you refired?

Yes, some of it is lost, but the reamining chemicals react again with the heat and often become brighter.

I havent pit fired yet, I have done a few smoke fireings when I go camping but that is about all
