Description
This is an ink job I did with Terrell Bobbett when we were working on a comic book together. Sadly, I was far to slow to get the pages all inked, and the book went straight from pencils to colors. On the bright side, it gave me some decent samples for my portfolio. Here's a link to the pencils did. [link]

Yeah, that's a great inking job.
You did a good job with the thick lines of the closer objects, everything looks very clear.
This is maybe an opinion of my own, but I wouldn't have used pure black in the trees of the back... It would add even more depth... But I know this is something it was already in the pencils
But it's still an incredible job, for both of you!
Too bad you couldn't finish it

I think that's a good suggestion about adding solid black trees in the far background. Maybe I'll take a look at that later and add that effect in photoshop just to see the difference. Thanks for the compliment though. Always love to hear suggestions and compliments.
Oh, and thanks for the fav too.

oh yeah, now i remember why i look up to you so much, cause your so good at what you do. As for time, i just spent yesterday penciling all the history of the green lanterns in one page, followed by spending just as many hours inking it, and i'm still not done, i just took a break to let the ink set so i could continue again. Amazing work by the way.

I look forward to see the page when it's finished. As for myself, the 911 phone guy revisions have been drawn out, and I'll go back to inking some pages tomorrow. I have to finish th Romita Jr. Spider-Man piece first though. Soto wants to see that pretty badly. Thanks for the compliments as always

Heh, to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of his work either. It has always looked to rough to me, but that's because I'm a smooth style inker. So one day I thought to myself, "What if I decided to ink a Romita Jr. page and smooth it out a little?" So hopefully it'll be something everyone can like.

Where do I start? Of course, great effin' work. This is what an inker does ladies and gentlemen. it doesn't get much better then this.

Well you know how it is - real estate is king. I had to subdivide the area where your shrine once stood to create room for more tenants. Your clones all want housing. I'm thinking a small efficiency for each one ... The nice thing is since they're all you, if I bill one, I bill all. This makes collection a breeze. I'll put a plaque up in your honor after I purchase a new Porsche Carrera GT with one of your monthly rent checks.

Nice nice. Real cool how you did the depth with thicker lines towards the reader.

Thank ya, thank ya. Yeah, that's a stand by trick for depth that almost all inkers use. Really helps to separate items on a page and put them on different planes.

Thanks. Yeah, until I get to a speed that's three to four times faster than what I am now, I won't be inking comics. It'll take some time, but I'm not in a big hurry. Thanks again.
