Why do we castrate our pets? It's just straight up animal cruelty!
If you're gonna castrate your own pets, then you might as well castrate your own children.
There literally wouldn't be a difference.
Do you know what spaying and neutering really is? It's an arrogant practice humans do to display our delusional superiority over non-human animals. It's also done because we're all irresponsible, and the fact we see our pets as something to feel superior to.
When spaying and neutering our pets, we're basically punished our pets for something that comes naturally to them.
Castration doesn't help your pets, it hurts them, and we should stop it.
I actually had a nightmare that I was forced into the hospital to get castrated.
Sorry for the rant, there.

Medical benefits from spaying/neutering are preventing female pets from getting uterine infections and breast tumors, which are harmful to 50% of dogs and 90% of cats. It also prevents male pets from getting testicular cancer and some prostate problems.

This reminds me of when my dog got fixed. When he came home from the vet's office he had the most miserable looking expression on his face lol

I've read that fixing your pets hurts them more than just leaving them intact.
Fixing your pets them at risk for urinary infections, hip displacements, shorter life, etc.
I have a friend who hasn't neutered their dog, and he's doing just fine. No problems at all. He's the sweetest dog you'll ever meet.

That's nice, i get what your saying, but you take care of the various puppies from the surrounding females. It sucks, but it just makes things easier.

It's the easy why out.
It's like if you have a friend that won't shut up about something and you take their vocal cords out and sew their mouths shut so they won't be able to talk anymore. Same thing, in concept.
I'm sorry, but castrating a living and breathing animal with feelings and whatnot is just disturbing and is, put simply, an extreme.
I do not plan on getting a pet when I move on my own, so I won't have to worry about it. But, still...
Non-human animals are literally no different from us, but our human arrogance and insecurities have made us believe we're superior to what isn't us to compensate.

i don't think that's quite the same thing, but any way, yeah it is the easy way, but the hard way is nearly impossible in a large country area, with animals that roam around outside freely. I do understand what you're saying, but it's pretty inevitable, none of my dogs are fixed and there's countless dogs that I'm positive are the childeren of my dogs, and female dogs that will not leave me alone, and have caused my dogs to physically fight and injure each other over them. And it makes things complicated and dangerous for me and my dogs.

We wouldn't have to do this if we didn't domesticate animals in the first place.
As Rick said, "I thought the whole point of having a dog was to feel superior, Jerry."
We're clearly not gonna take responsibility for making these animals our trophies, and we're making them suffer for our laziness.
It's essentially putting the burden on someone else and pretending the problem doesn't exist.
To put it in a scenario, it's like going out to dinner with a friend and saying you forgot your wallet so your friend would have to pay the bill, if that makes sense.
All we want is the pleasures and status from owning a pet and none of the responsibility that comes with it.
Even though we constantly look for bad news, we tend to ignore them when it comes to something we want/like.
And you know kids will beg their parents for a dog for weeks and they'll never even take it out for a walk once. I get it, we all hate responsibility.
IDK what you're gonna do, but don't get your dogs fixed, alright?
When we see a horny 12-year-old, we don't "fix" them, do we? What's the difference? There aren't any. -_-

It's because dogs are always gonna pick at there balls with their teeth. This is so that they won't be able to pick there.
