Description The smaller vortian who was named Flik slammed his fists down upon the table screaming "How did that little runt survive!!!!" The small vortian's face was fixed into a  scowl, his beady eyes glaring up at the taller vortian, as if he was going to strike him for winning the bet from last round.

The taller vortian chuckled, "look who's talking ' runt'. Now where's my monies?"  The smaller vortian glared at him. He at this point was trying desperately to think of a way to keep his hard earned cash. Just as he thought the taller vortian had won, he remembered something and  brightened once he recalled something the taller vortian has said earlier, "wait a minute! You said if the Del died by the "hands" of Rheu. Not by a giant rock bug thing!!!" The taller vortian frowned, and looked at him blankly. "That's right, so technically I don't owe you anything," The small vortian crossed his arms and grinned mischievously.

The taller vortian sighed, "fine, but your next bet is based on whether your next Irken dies." The smaller grinned, "this next one, blue is his name, won't go down as easy as that soft Irken scum Del!"  The larger vortian stared at a screen now displaying Blue vs Rheu since their ship had detected the two close by. The fights weren't really planned, so they relied on whether  who was the closest to who in order to place their bets on. The taller had no doubt that others were betting on who they thought would win too.
He thought to himself. He never knew Lard Nar's little plan would be so successful. Looks like he would need to get someone to scrub off those nasty pictures of Lard Nar he drew in the public bathroom stall onboard the main ship. That's so Lard Nar won't find out he was the one making fun of him, but even if that was the case he still would be quiet about it and hope Lard Nar blamed it on someone else instead.

Meanwhile on planet Rexant...

Rheu was covered in dust, and soot. So far he seemed okay minus some bruising, and his scratched up armor. He was lucky to have a docile opponent last round, but still it was rather painful and mind boggling to see someone die like that, someone that pretty much saved him. Regret and sorrow filled his mind as he moved on ahead. His footsteps scrapping lightly on what now seemed like sand. The gritty particles now falling from a opening where a small slither off light shined. He approached the opening with caution, climbing up to the top to see himself surrounded by desert.

It seemed to had become morning now, the sun beginning to rise. There were strange curled cacti, and cracked dirt riddling the ground that seemed somewhat familiar to him. Some spots had sand like where he was standing, but the rest was mostly rock, with the dead skeletons or remains of once living things. The raging hot suns made his armor excessively hot. Without hesitation, he dropped his shoulder guards and chest plate off, the pieces of armor making a light thud on the ground. He was still burning up, but at least he wasn't baking like he was before. Sighing, he proceeded to head through the desert. If he could see better he may had resorted to removing his helmet, or if he felt safer may had stopped to laser parts of it off to make a makeshift visor, instead of having to cook in this heat.

As he walked through the intense heat, he began hallucinating. At first it began with his vision distorting, and the illusion of stationary objects changing, and warping as if they were moving. Rheu knew the heat was starting to get to him, his clothes were now drenched in sweat, and his breathing was slow and heavy under his helm.

Just then out of nowhere a pool of water seemed to emerge in the distance. Staring towards it, he stood there, the sand blowing past him as a slow wind kicked up. Without hesitation, he darted towards it screaming, "WATER! THANK IRK WATTTEERRRRR!!!" He dived for it only to land smack into dirt. He lay there as he took in the reality, then pouted, "whhahhahhahyyyy!!!" Three minutes later he lay there but at last he sat up looking ahead , and saw some rocks sticking out ahead. Struggling to stand up, he could only hope he could find some shade. "Please be some sort of shade over there..." he whined, walking towards the rocks. He only hoped that there was at least something he could sit under away from the raging two blazing balls of fire in the sky. He unfortunately found out they stuck straight up, providing no under hanging pieces to give him any shade what so ever.

Blue who was walking in the heat, sweating as the suns beat violently against him, slowly brushed the sweat off his brow. The lone Irken had taken off his cape, and was using it to shade himself from the suns. He had walked quite a distance from the ruins of a city into a wasteland eventually turned desert.  So far there was no sign of life, and the resisty gave no sign of hinting who his next opponent was yet again. Instead he heard the mocking echoes of Lard Nar laughing at them, urging them on to continue the bloodshed from above.

"A future tallest shouldn't have to go through this mess!" He growled as he walked through the desert. "What kind of Irken am I going to run into this time, a Irken fairy, a mermaid, or even a Pixie?" He grumbled, "at least they could give me a sign or a hint like last time."
He actually found it kinda hard to believe that he actually killed a supernatural hybrid beyond what he could possibly imagine. Blue didn't want to think of what else horrors await him in the future.

In the distance Blue spotted the same rocks that Rheu had walked over to. Walking, around it he peeked around the corner, then hid fast as soon as he saw Rheu. "By the looks of this guy...or is it a she. I have no idea what kind of possible Irken this may be." Debating at whether he should take chances of confronting the Irken or attacking, he decided to take a chance on confronting him.

Sighing, Blue walked around the rock he hid behind and coughed, "Ahem, who might you be?"
Rheu was taken by surprised and jumped backwards in shock.  "N...no one," he responded back, his helm making his voice sounding a bit emotionless. Blue tilted his head, "Whatever, do me a favor and hold my cloak over my head away from this sun, as me, your future tallest thinks of a way out of this mess." Rheu just stood there blankly, "What?" Blue looked irritated, snapping, "Don't question your tallest!" Rheu wanted to protest, and point out he was a bit too short to be a tallest but decided to shut up and do what he said.

The blue clad Irken was a bit annoying, and he didn't feel like listening to him ramble on about being a tallest. Sighing, he held the cloak over Blue's head with disdain.
As they trekked the desert,  Rheu was feeling a bit light headed from the excess heat, but being afraid to anger the hot headed Irken he struggled to do what he had said. But soon he just had to say something. "Um, sir I'm wondering...if we can stop a little and maybe switch positions?" Blue snapped," No, it's your fault for wearing that hot looking armor, and it's rather stupid too." He huffed, "Besides it's MY cloak. Rheu sighed and continued to hold up the stubborn Irken's cloak. He was starting to really hate him. But since Rheu wasn't really a violent type and more of the obedient sort, he had no choice but to just go along with it.

So far they hadn't seen any sign of water, shade or anything. Just desert, and more desert, and Rheu could had sworn he passed the same cactus five times already. Blue himself seemed to be slowing down, and panting heavily. Even if the walk was pretty slow due to Rheu himself walking slower than a snail, and Blue trying to make sure he stays under the shade of his cloak.

The wind began to whip up again, as small dust devils lazily passed them. They looked like small little whirlwinds. They didn't seem to bother Rheu but Blue seemed to hate them, since he was cursing up a storm because of the sand and grit blowing smack in his face. "Ugh, I fucking HATE deserts! The sooner I'm out the better!" He turned around, and yelled, "Okay you, it's time to pick up the pace!" He whirled around, and began walking fast like he had a sudden burst of energy. Struggling to keep up, Rheu stumbled after him, "W...wait!" He wanted him to slow down , but the Irken seemed to not want to really listen.

They arrived to what seemed to be a canyon. There wasn't too much shade, but it was at least something that showed they were at least getting somewhere. Stopping at a cliff they began to slowly climb down a narrow opening. As Rheu descended, something felt wrong. Everything was quiet, besides the sound of buzzing.  He heard Blue curse yet, again as he slapped his neck. "Ugh, stupid insects," Blue had reached the bottom, and stepped forward to only scream in shock. Rheu practically fell down from the sudden sound. Looking towards where Blue was, he saw nothing but dead bodies that littered the ground, some with the flesh rotting away, and some that were nothing but bone all piled up together. The insects were thick now, and Blue seemed to look like he was going to gag.

Rheu wanted to climb back up but since he had already climbed to the bottom, he found no point in doing it. But he changed his mind when he heard a sudden roar, and a large horned animal with horns jutting out from its face, and back with multiple eyes charge in. Blue reacted fast, dodging it and diving out of its path. Rheu however was frozen from shock, and hit hard. Pain shooting through his body as one of its horns impaled him in the side. Shrieking from the pain, he retracted the blade in his arm, stabbing it in the face. The thing reared up backwards, and flailed it's head trying to shake Rheu off. One of its eyes blinded from the blade.

Blue brought out his guns, proceeding to shoot the thing as it was distracted. Rheu was tossed off and slammed into a rock with a grunt. Blood spilling from his wound after the thing stabbed him with one of its horns. From what he can see, the beast looked like a hogulus, native to Hobo 13. Rheu wasn't too sure and it could be from the blood lost, but whatever the case was, he needed to get away.

The blue clad Irken seemed to be doing okay, dodging the attacks easily since the hogulus was a bit slower than him. Blue himself knew he couldn't dodge it forever, and he was still weak and tired from the long walk in the desert.  Just on cue one of its horns knocked him over flat on his back. Giving the hogulus a chance to bring up a hoof in a attempt to stomp on Blue. As the hoof came down, Blue took this moment to roll quickly away. The hoof barely missing its target. The hogulus roared in anger, lunging at Blue's head with its incisors. Taking this chance, Blue brought up his guns and shot it in its face. It collapsed onto the ground, landing too close to Rheu, one horn from his back ripping a finger clean off of Rheu's right hand. The bleeding Irken screaming in horrific pain. Blue was panting, and sweating heavily, "No stupid wildlife can kill someone as superior as me, and I'll make sure that stupid vortian sees that."

Something fell from above,  and landed onto the rocky ground. It was a round spherical object. A small click can be heard, as it changed shape by retracting pieces from inside out, projecting the list of who is supposed to fight who in a holographic image . Blue frowned, then looked at Rheu, his voice lowering, "So I was supposed to kill you all along..." He gritted his teeth, walked slowly over to Rheu. His eyes narrowed, "If this is the only way to move on, then so be it." He lifted his gun, aiming it at Rheu. The injured Irken hissed in pain, "Y..you, don't really have...t..to do this." Blue growled, "Sorry,  but in order to eat and survive I will have to kill you." His grip tightened around the trigger, and just as he was about to shoot, the supposedly dead hogulus  gave one last fight, pushing itself upright, and clamping his jaws right around Blue's neck and ripping his throat out. Blood splattered everywhere, as Blue's body collapsed the trigger was pulled as his body fell hitting Rheu in the helm instead. Damaging it and knocking him completely out.

There was nothing but blackness of what seemed like forever, until he gained consciousness. But even then he couldn't see. His helmet was damaged, and that was why he couldn't see. As much as he didn't want to do this. He grabbed the right lens with his left arm, and pulled it until he ripped it out. Revealing his yellow eye. Everything was dark and cold, he figured the suns must had set so that it was nightfall. A slight fog had appeared, and he could see the dead bodies of what used to be the living. He was hurting badly, but he had to not give up. He had to survive, though he knew he wouldn't be able to erase his mind of what had happened.

I rushed it.
If I had known there was a extension I would had took my time. But this seems to always happen in this FC tournament just like last time >.>
I rush to get something done, and then a last minute extension, and then I facepalm. I really want to redo this now that there is more time D:

Yeah... still, you don't want to count on the extension, and I kinda respect you for at least getting SOMETHING done before the deadline.
And since there is more time, it probably wouldn't hurt to go back and redo some of it o3o

I suppose, I might just turn it into a comic like I originally planned, since this was at first script turned written entry.
