This is my concept art gunblade, I kinda hope to have this thing custom built, just a simple prop actually. This blade's primary weapon is based off an implanted Desert Eagle 50.AE. I know it will be hard for a user to control it's firepower and kick, but a skilled user can use it easily.Related content

Strangely...i can think of a lot of advantages this would have over a normal handgun, for actually shooting it, without use of the blade in combat even.
However, i'm concerned those advantages might be outweighed by the akwardness of the design, as cool as it is.

shorten barrel pistols rounds arent really made to shoot down a long barrel theres no point for long barrel shorter will still shoot the bullet were it needs to go .....other than that fuckin sweet design I like the angled pistol grip it would akin itself to swingin and shootin very wel

Actually, the concept of the gunblade is very clever, because the weight of the blade would greatly reduce the amount the gun kicks up by, increasing its accuracy.

Sounds alot like the concept for the H&K USP Match, that whole block thing on the front being a counterweight of sorts.
