A you've been at uni too. What did you study? Art I suppose?
I studied physics and have a phd in geophysics/planetary dynamics. Now I am a reasercher at University (in Rome). I try to go back in France but it is very hard to get a researcher position there.

Yeah, fine art a few years back. I painted mostly, but kind of wish I'd gone down the illustration/design now.
Wow, that's a really cool area of research - I'm really interested in science, although at a very amateur level! I hope you manage to find a position in France, but at least you get to live in a beautiful city until you do!

Mmh! You think so... Rome is a terrible place to live in. It's great if you want to visit but terrible if you want to work. Nothing works, people are very aggressive, nobody is motivated in general...
Yes geophysics is really a cool stuff to do. It is very mathematical but this is what I like And you can do a lot with 3D stuff, nice to look at graphically.
I have a new project about painting planets. You will probably see some icy satellites or Mars in my gallery as soon as I find some time to paint! But I have to work my guitare too... Dammit I need 3 lifes!

Well, good luck getting back to France. Looking forward to seeing some planet paintings - I got a telescope for my birthday, so I'm just beginning my own explorations into the cosmos! Also really interested to see how you develop your abstract work.
