Ok this deviation I’m posting here was only made possible by fellow deviant KuBo88
As it was one of his images that was the starting point for these elaborate twisting patterns

This specifically is the piece of his work that inspired this abstract [link]
it’s a black and white photo but it’s the starting point for my image manipulation that produced the results I put up here

was playing with going back to black and white for the image kind of like in the original picture - but the more i did that the more spider web like it looked - so i went with it and decided to put somethign in the center just to finish it off - opting for bright colours instead of something monochrome as a contrast - also the butterfly shape was another experimentation with the image i started off with so i figured might as well combine the two
i did ask KuBo88 the kind of colours he preffered - he said 'oranges' hence i opted for an orange butterfly in the center
