Continuing with the Kamen Rider 50th anniversary celebration, I present to you the Rider whose show aired in 2006, the year of the 30th anniversary: Kamen Rider Kabuto. His real name is Soji Tendo. Seven years prior to the series, a meteorite struck the Shibuya district in Tokyo, bring the threat of the series: the shapeshifting monsters known as Worms. With the power of the Kabuto Zector, Soji becomes Kamen Rider Kabuto. Kabuto is the second Rider to have a Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle motif. He and the other Riders associated with the organization known as ZECT fight to eliminate the threat of the Worms and later another species called the "Natives".
