I like the pose and the expression, well done. The background is kind of blank, but i think it's an artistic choice here so i don't mind that much.

Thank you. My main priority for this drawing was to flesh out the subject in such a way that dominates the frame. I felt that to add background detail would have overwhelmed the subject. By all accounts, I think the band of grey was for that enough to tie the background with the picture as a whole. But then that's just how I see it.
