Yeah, she does
Well, as far as life story goes... she grew up on in the human streets, she had no one she could trust or turn to except her Quithkat Token, so their bond is very strong. The world she grew up in is racked by a war between humans and a race call Ireinyns. The one physical attribute that stands out most about Ireinyns are their gold and black eyes with scars coming down from them, and since Jaylen is a full blooded Ireinyn that grew up thinking she was human, till she was told differently, she's always covered her eye so she wouldn't be killed.
So pretty much she's blackmailed into helping a resistance fight against the war for peace on both ends. I plan on writing about her after I finish my current book.
