/r/animesketch is getting people to post OC's so I decided to buck the trend and get some practice with dark-skin. Also he's short, and he's old, and he's not very magical. I don't see him lasting long in the OC-tournament they seem to have planned.Drawn traditionally, redrawn in Mischief and then all the text / random coffee stains added in GIMP.

This is really good work, man. Your posts just keep getting better and better. You can really see the progress each time. I wish I had it in me to do photoshop/digital art because I'm literally going backwards with my work. I'm really impressed though, keep it up.

Hah, whenever you do get around to posting stuff I'm still really impressed by it. I wish I had it in my to do traditional stuff so I could have a physical product to show for my hours of work, but I'm worthless without an undo key.

I've been trying to get back on the horse and do something worth printing. I guess the thing with traditional versus digital is that trade-off between having the physical thing to show for the work, or having a more polished piece at the end. I used to be really anti-digital, but I'm coming around. I think it's largely because I feel like I've never finished anything properly before. Getting set-up with all the tackle might be half the challenge. If an undo button is the answer to stepping up like you have, then that's what I need.
