Detective Conan is a Manga/ ANime. ALtough he has starred in a few games based on those, I suppose.

I like how Henrik put 6 h's in Hhog's name when he only needed 2.
And I guess since Hhog's a fire god, he's 532 years old.

You never lost those 20 cents, that's mathematical trickery.
See, the dollar/ euro you used on the aracde machine was twice 30 cents but train A had a 10 minute stop, therefore 5 people made the entrance machine stop which only gives you 20 cents change, not 50.

I need to keep in mind to always ask the victim in a murder case, that could make everything easier some times.

tell that advice to Phoenix Wright.
I'm surpised he never asks Maya to channel the murder victims.
Just because one murder victim lied a long time ago doesn't mean all of them do.
Plus which witess DOESN'T lie in a PW game anyway?

but the jokes have nothing to do with the maths itself
It's a parody of Detective Conan/ Professor Layton where murder cases always turn into silly riddles, that's the joke. Not the maths itself.

Heh, nah. Despite the occasional use of Mathsman, I don't dislike Maths that much, or ever really hated it. It just amuses me sometimes because Math logic is completely opposite my normal sense of logic.

Start smoking and have a attention disorder, and connect facts and information with things that have nothing to do with it?
Yes, that will certainly help.

I think the detective role suits Henrik very well. And I like how it suddenly turns into a Professor Layton game with all those puzzles. Those are some pretty interesting arcade machines. I remember one as a kid where you go around on a flying bicycle collecting baloons. And Skip looks like the kind of guy who could complete Super Meat Boy or IWTBTG without dying in one sitting.
Awesome job mate.

Flying bicycle.. I can vaguely remember something like that myself yeah.. heh. yeah. no idea what the name was.
Hahaha, Skip Rogers beating any game at all?
He's actually based on the the first videogame playtrough maker of some sort (From the late 80's in fact). That is, Kodak was selling instruction videotapes and there were 2 from Skip Roges, VIDEOGAME CHAMPION where he gives tips how to score the most points in nintendo games (Of course 95% of the games he shows didn't even have a point system)
The videotape being made by coorporate suits, the playtroughs are a complete joke with Skip constantly getting information wrong, giving bad tips or no tips at all and often screwing up. It's a blast.
So when I had to give random videogame loser a name, there was just one option.

Well, he was the first ever reviewer, before the internet, so he didnt need a personality yet. Plus he was made up by marketing suits, so that gives you either ultra bland, or every 80 and 90's cliche possible. Sadly they went with the first.

yeah, makes sense if you read it one chapter a week in a manga magazine, but if you read the whole story in one go, it's really annoying.
And of course the weird mathematical riddles and the main character's constant need to solve any murder case he sees, especailly if he actually has much more pressing issues at hand.

Civilian Shooter 5000... something tells me that game won't be viewed so well in the real world.
Anyway, really liked this one. Liked the bits with Henrik trying to figure out who the actual/obvious murderer is and the scene of him asking the murdered yet somehow still alive John.
